Noob to forum moderation

I'm unsure if I keep encountering bugs in the forums or if everytime I post I'm being noobly moderated. If I have to wait to join conversation, how the heck am I supposed to participate? Very lazy rule in my opinion.

Hi there, we hoped the big green banner at the top of the forum would help communicate the message!
All new posts are moderated before being approved and posted. This process helps us knock out spam accounts before they are able to post to the forums.

I suspect the issue the OP is having is similar to my first post experience this morning. It actually popped up with an error "411988" or something, but otherwise gave no indication that it was processing my post for moderation. I couldnt find it as a "pending" post or anything like that in my user profile, so I presumed it was in fact an error.

So i posted something similar again....same problem, same error.

Now I see my original post has appeared. I dont know if its just me or if thiis is how it always works.

Yes...the errors are what are appearing, no indication that the post is moderated. Rather confusing and irritating.

For the first time, the green banner told me my post was being moderated. The flash to bang time needs to improve. It's silly for real users to experience this for over a week.

When posting, what is error 419030? An error code is great, but with no explanation does nothing for us comom users. This forum has got to be the most complicated one I've ever been involved with. I would be a lot more active if my posts were unmoderated and my questions answered completely. But maybe that's the end goal? To chase the noobs away? If I didn't have a whole alliance counting on me to answer questions and find new players, I would have given up already.

For moderation: as a new user, your first post goes into the moderation queue. If you post again before that one is approved, it also goes into the queue. We check the queue periodically throughout the day and approve as they appear.
