Not receiving alliance donations

I have two accounts; 1 on an iPad and 1 on an Android phone (Droid Turbo). Both accounts are in the same alliance and I have often donated from the iPad account to the Android account in the past with success.

Since the most recent patch (3.5 I believe), when I donate troops from the iPad account, they are never received at the other account. The troops on the iPad account are gone as if they had been donated (and I see them walking out the alliance gate like normal), but they are never received on the other hand, as if they got lost in transit.

Customer service said this was a known issue, but I wanted to post here as well for further visibility.

Same here have to request 3 or 4 times to get the units X.X

I have confirmed with multiple people in my alliance that they are not receiving donations I give them. I will see the request, fulfill it, the troops will leave my base, but the players never receive them.

This wouldn't bug me so much if I just could not donate, but the fact that I am losing the troops and they are getting lost in some black hole is a bit irritating. Especially when I donate artillery.

We are now seeing this happen to many people in the alliance. It is clearly a widespread issue. Hopefully this is the development team's top priority right now because it is pretty significant.

Not receiving requested troops at all, have to try 4 or 5 times to get it.. Please fix!!

Still an issue when I donate from one of my accounts to the other. They occasionally go through, but usually do not and the troops are lost and the request is counted as being fulfilled, so I lost troops/food from the donating side and lose the ability for to have anyone else provide a donation on the receiving side.

This needs fixing. Its been over a week now...

I mistakenly posted this very problem over in the General forum this morning and a player name of Quovatis supplied a workaround that worked for all three of my villages.

Might want to give it a try.

Donate

go back to your base of request.

minimize app, call it back, open the chat close it.

Most of the time you'll get the troops after logging out/int, minimize/callback app and/or opening/closing the chat window.

fiddel around, yes it is buggy, but I almost Always get the troops, but sometimes only after doing the described actions...
