I have questions about Notre Dame.

1. How is "Cannot be attacked" a benefit? People can still 100% a base. In fact, I think not being able to be attacked is a disadvantage because it did not increase the % of total base buildings.

2. If it cannot be attacked, why does it have HP and if not mistaken, the HP grows per Age?

Truly puzzling.

I never understood the design concept behind "cannot be attacked"

wondera give a dispraportionate % towards opponents reaching 50% victory condition. having a wonder that cant be destroyed towards that 50% is a minor bonus

The benefit is reduced cost for upgrades and research.
How much savings? I have library research costing 200k and 400k gold/food respectively,
How much does Notre Dame help?
I am wondering if I should change wonder from Coliseum to Notre Dame since gold is so very scarce.

walls suck up way more resources than upgrades. but 10 mil saved is better than nothing. coloseum is more fun and ud have to spend 600 crowns now and 600 when ur done upgrading and notre dam becomes useless

The more buildings you have, the more the opponent need to destroy in order to get 50%. So wouldn't having a building that cannot be attacked be a penalty instead of a benefit?

The only use I can see for this is integrating it into the design such that it acts as a wall. I haven't been able to do that to my satisfaction yet.

Do you know who posted that in depth look? Like their username or possibly what the post was called?
