IMO, peace treaties should be awarded after a set amount of gold or food is looted. People are not going after stars at all. They do not go after the town center any longer. Hit quick, and get out. Your resources can be depleted too quickly, after hard work and money spent to get them.

Is your Town Center placed outside of walls where it can be easily hit? Also how many medals do you have?

The problem with losing a lot of resources is this force close problem. I think a good way to avoid that is to go up in medal count. At higher levels people are more interested in getting as many stars out of you as possible for medals and not necessarily getting your resources.

I stayed about 1600 medals for a while, but went down to an avg of 500. Now going up to see if it helps any. Was getting hit all of the time, no matter where I was with medals. Town center is outside all walls in a corner, but no one ever hits that any longer.
