Players need to find their happy place and not feel pressured into playing a certain way. Enjoy the game, war if you want to or opt out, play like a demon, casual or become a casual addict.

I will play as long as I have fun with my alliance and the guild wars, regardless of ages.

Hopefully there will be library research to upgrade technological advances - which will make tools sharper and people more productive so it doesn't take 21 days to clear your friggin forests!! Doesn't help me though!

Where is the madness going to end Nexon??! 9mil for some tower upgrades in Global. Presumably in Nuclear you'll just make the next upgrade 10 mill (very inventive). Other silly things like the oil refinery upgrade from 135k to 175k yet most building upgrades require 190k+ oil - so what was the point of 175k ???!! (As USA Elite Will pointed out in another post)
Are we going to get more buildings in Nuclear and, if so, any more forests to clear? And what - they'll be a ridiculous amount of money and maybe 4 weeks to clear??!! The only - and I mean ONLY - reason I would level up to Nuclear age is if library upgrades were introduced that reduced upgrade costs and times. Ideally, the costs and times shouldn't be this high anyway but at this stage Nexon is clearly in a rut that it can't escape from so the best I can hope for is library options - which I would happily spend rss on if it affects the rest of the upgrades.
I like to have ''flow'' in my life - whether it's driving to work, being at work, being with people, experiencing new things, going on holidays, playing games, etc - I like things to flow naturally from one thing to another. Unfortunately, Dominations doesn't flow at this level. Upgrades that take 6-8 days with 16 workers (4 people on a building) doesn't flow. There's no ''overlap'' where, as soon as one building finishes, another can be upgraded with 2 workers still available for cider/walls/metal/animals. At most you can upgrade 3-4 buildings with a couple of researches/troops and then all you can do - IF YOU DON'T SPEND COIN - is battle & log off. Yes I know that's the idea of the game but what happens when you have maxed resources and buildings are only halfway done ??!! Upgrade times - IN A PERFECT GAME - should be only slightly longer than the time it takes to max your resources - so there's little ''down time''. I can max my food/gold in a few days but if a building takes 7-8 days I have to wait too long til I can use my resources for the next upgrade ie: down time. Yes, yes, I know - upgrade my walls ....
I currently have 3 buildings being upgraded, a research cooking and a troop upgrading, with rss maxed out (except oil) - and my nearest building upgrade is 4 days away. Sure I can play and loot but I don't need the resources. So there's no incentive for me. Maybe I can stop playing for a few days until my buildings are done and I start this stop-start process all over again. This is not ''flowing'' - and if Nexon keeps on with their linear formula of upgrades and costs the game will flow even less - at least in the high levels. There will be more time waiting for buildings/troops to finish while your resources are maxed.
Of course, I say this as a casual player in IA & Global and admittedly my MA and EA nations are doing just fine - and I don't make war - so keep this in mind before you decide to school me about the benefits of Wars & Alliances. Yes I know a lot of you play Wars but ask yourself: are you happy to play wars ad infinitum if the current format of search, find, scout, war; search, find, scout, war, etc, never changes ...... ??
Despite all this, I still like this game and still enjoy playing it. I'm sure Nexon can see where it's heading - I just wish they had the guts to make the necessary changes we're all asking for. For now, I'm off to upgrade a wall or two. I'll be back in a .... oh wait, that was quick.

But without these long upgrades waits, how would you find the time to draft meticulously detailed complaints on Forum?
