Im very curios to see the space age. not 100% sure if I will ever get there, but if I do quit or lose interest before then, I will make an effort to come back evry few months to see how stale things are and marvel at the lack of changes.

Wow, Ravenlord, I happen to be here reading today, and I'm so GLAD you seem to start realising the things too...

Just give me this sentence for sounding like the grandpa, I told you, but it's the fact, I told you all Global was going to be a disaster, and I was the negative one, spoiling the big party that was here when few people was realising how bad where things looking...

And so now, ok, I'm done, let's talk about situation...

Global Age has been a disaster. A disaster for the casual-moderate spender player, and heavy timers. Take me for example, I used to play like 4 hours a day, I was playing less and less Clash of Clans, Nexons almost had me... But then Global arrived, I can't understand why already, and I have not even upgraded to it, I did not need it to understand how terrible it was. Nexon killed me.

My ex-alliance leader, reminds me of you a lot, because he says problem is the same, he is only playing once in 4-5 days, to max loot, and then sit for ages until buildings done... He says loves the game, but that his situation is starting to kill...

I really think we should make an Elrond's Council, all the players as I describe, like you Will, Gail, Bravy, Martine, Maximus, Qt, etc, to make pressure united to Nexon and be heard, because if not... Things look real bad. Game will fall in revenue and active players base, and Nexon solution will be... Rushing even MORE new ages and content. So heavy 0.5% top spenders spend heavy money, and we enter a run spiral, run before it ends... A fatal bucle.

So I think we should agree in possible solutions... For me these were the main issues:

-Generals to the castle. When they were up to level 30, I thought having them upgrading in the armory was mad. When I saw they raised to level 40 in Global, I was like ###***... Generals should be though to upgrade, but still possible, if a player is active. Moving them to the fortress, will be a HEAVY motivation for raiding, since every 2-3 days you'll have to have 50k oil, that's a motivation for raiding and be active and war.
-Food, for walls... Again, yes. No one has ever told me of another solution that will balance more economy. And why it's important? Because as you say the problem of the game it's when you are full in loot, it's very frustrating. Why is in part so boring playing just for walls? Because you maxed of food, no use for oil either, so just raiding just for gold, becomes stupid and tiring. My first proposal alongside with this one, will make difficult to ever have too much loot... Of course it doesn't help Nexon added prices like 8 million to them... Was utter dumb, wall has to be very though, but not cheater only prices...
-Forests as you said is super dumb too, and also I think like an experiment... 21 days is way TOO much even for this kind of games. I would say 12-14 is a very solid barrier, even a game now 4 years old like Clash of Clans, has never broke... I think they should really start thinking on a time limit for future building upgrades... Or a posibility will be that you have workers, and builders, workers can convert to builders, like having 4 workers will be another builder, but the idea will be for them to remaing idle, collecting rss and animals. :S That united to the other two proposals, should make motivation for being active...

I really think that only all the proposals together could make for a save of the game... Sucks that Dominations has so great potential, but is being treated this way... If anyone think they have better ideas or things that need to be added, I'm glad to hear, will be nice if we could make a point of consensus, like a "declaration of forum player base" of something, so Nexon hear us...

Main point to be addresses are those in my opinion: game has to be encouraging to play more, so for that, make possible to do walls and generals, for players that already cover the basics easily, and make for solutions to the time problem, and not having all the workers busy... Immo, the game drops a lot if fun having like 4-6 workers idle vs all busy...

Like it is now, it's TOO easy doing the basics, and it's TOO impossible doing the premium, like walls and generals. Fatal combination that lead us to the darkness of the ages... Happy Dominations anyways to the ones you are still enjoying...

I have always enjoyed reading your posts. you are very practical in your approach. while I don't agree with the walls for food idea, I don't have a different solution to fix that broken problem. maybe, just maybe I am starting to think you arent so crazy with the suggestion :)

I dont care about the upgrade times, if they would be shorter we are already there where we were for 4 months in IA. Upgrading walls and gens - that was boring.
On contrary we have the Events now and the fun with the bugs - you never know what can happen to your base tomorrow :))

Elrond's council!!! Can I be Gailadriel? I have to admit the game has lost its appeal to me and as I said before if it weren't for my alliance I'd be gone. Some days I just chat and don't do anything game related besides donate and retrain my troops. I'm now in global looking at training times thinking ''more time to talk'' (psst Ravenlord I used your trick 😉) Anyway. I'd be happy to host the Elrond council... I have half of Forum in my alliance now anyway 😊 Or we can make an alliance called Elronds council and send our Alts for a more neutral territory. Whatever it is I'm up for discussion on this.

to reduce the impact of this game on my real life, i decided to ignore the medal system and stay at low ranks, so am enjoying the game with a decent amount of challenge since WW, and not getting headaches because of these high ranks
so I can't find a reason to stop gamming and progress as much as i can, all the irritation came from AI issues and since i had air units in IA, i could correct the defects in ground units AI most of the time

Well things will continue to be linear if the devs don't consider our ideas. They take too damn long to fix the major bugs, but spend time pushing out lame events that I don't care for. The most important thing for us is war and I would bet for most people. Improve war is what I want. No more lame events that created extra bugs. IA upgrade time already pain in the @$$, not looking forward to global. If it wasn't for my alliance I would consider playing less and eventually stop too. A year of frustration dealing with Nexon and BHG's incompetency.

While I agree that it would be nice if they were quicker at fixing bugs I do not agree that the events are "lame". My alliance likes the events a lot, it's an easy way to change things up and keep it interesting. Yes, like everything else it may take up dev time and introduce issues but I think it is worth it. Without events I feel like a lot of people would lose interest, and I would find it less interesting too...though I can live on WW for a bit. And upgrade times and costs are not worse than CoC yet...so I'm not complaining.

The nexon people must really be trying to come up with new ideas because sooner or later, whether we know it or not, we WILL run out of ages. I therefore don’t think the next age after Global will be space age or anything like that. They have a money cow they will want to keep milking for as long as possible. Will be interesting and will be a few more years at least imo.

Here's a thought: the extra long build times and costs are necessary. I'll let that sink in ..........

I mean, what happens if there ARE no more ages and we all eventually max everything? What do we play for then? Events? War for prestige? That's why l think there will always be another age, then another, ...... assuming Dominations is still here in a couple of years.

The thing l dont get is: cheaters or payers with fully maxed bases - why do they bother playing ???!!! Is it THAT satisfying rolling a base when you have overwhelming odds? Where's the challenge ......? Like the guy who 5starred me with a full global army plus lvl 40 generals plus 6 Jagdpanzers....... l trust he enjoyed that 1 medal & 1 diamond from the win!

I'm going until I'm either a) too bored to continue OR b) the game pisses me off so much I can't stand playing any longer AND c) my friends/alliance-mates are no longer able to convince me to stay.

I often wonder this myself... It must get boring for them at some point. Do you think they get frustrated when they crash and lose their entire army? Or do they just think pfft... I'll make crown a new one?
