Playing DomiNations on a desktop.

Hey lads!

9 months ago I wanted to make video's on DomiNations when I was very active. I was inspired to make video's because there were almost none on Youtube on DomiNations. So I started my own series and recorded it with my Samsung Galaxy S3 NEO. I quickly got 1k views on 2 videos but stopped playing the game soon after. Now my NEO is all beat up (it probably fell like 50 times, not even exaggurating) and the mic records very poorly. So I want to start making video's again soon but this time with a better sound quality and better content.

Basically my question is: How can I play DM on my laptop?

Also; are there alot of Dutch players on DM? Recording video's in my native language would be alot easier than recording it in english. I'm not so talkative in english as I am in dutch unfortunately!

Before DM work on Android emulation Bluestack. But now it seem not. You can connect your Android screen phone to your PC and try to record from there.

The most elegant and expensive way to record DM is getting a new Samsung galaxy S7/S7 edge with integrated game recorder Game Tools. It is supposed not slowing your game or crashing.

Can you explain to me how I do that? To see the phone screen on my laptop screen.
And damn that sounds super awesome but I really do not care about smartphones which is why i own a simple S3 neo If I can whatsapp, call and play dominations it is a fine phone to me!

You can connect your SS phone to PC using Samsung software like Kies, and the laptop will show the screen of your phone. I don't know about how to record your laptop screen, but I think many soft do did.

try droid4x emulator, it's better than blue stacks, i guess it has native recorder anyway give it a try

I already have. And like I said it plays DM with 5 fps or so... but it I already know which do play just fine: Bluestacks and Andy! I just tried Bluestack cuz I had no other option and DM appeared again in the playstore!

hmm i prefered droid4x cuz everytime DM makes an update causes problems with bluestacks, idk why it's playing at low fps do u have ur PC virtualization turned on?

No I don't... not even sure what that is haha. And you're right about Bluestacks..

if ur pc processor supports virtualization that should make droid4x run much faster, there was a tool to download automatically checks if ur pc supports virtualization, find it by visiting ur processor manufacturer official site,
if ur processor supports it, check youtube to know how to turn it on and then try running DM on droid4x again

Bluestacks works fine. Also, since the last update, you can zoom out further. By far the best way to play this game for me.

I also liked to play on bluestacks and just use a screen recorder, i was ready to buy €20 crowns and make a new video about the global age, but it still doesn't work for me.

Yes. Yes there are. There's an alliance called Dutch Warlords which is one of the top alliances in the game. We have like 8 spinoffs of the main alliance by now. Look us up, we're a friendly bunch.

There are plenty of Dutch around. If you wish to join a bunch of fanatics go to Dutch Warlords. If you are more laid-back you might want to check out Team Holland. Otherwise just do a search for Holland, Nederland etc. and you'll find plenty of them.

​Toast zaphod I have decided to remain as a solitary traveller.. until I get my base upgraded! My medal count is currently at 350 (at IA - lv85) because i'm using the raider&sapper tactic to gather enough food for my barracks/blacksmith. I've just spend 45k OIL on factory lv2. How are those guarrelas? I can't wait to use them lol. Anyhow, i will check those guilds out soon! Thanks guys

I never use factory units; maybe it will change with the upgrade. Being industrial I usually stick within the 1200-2000 area. I play with a mixed army but once I reach 2000 I start the big bulldoze. Using only raiders I start sniping cheater bases. 6-10 raiders will in most cases give me 500k+ in resources. I drop in medals because of it, but by the time my little men are unemployed again I'll be back near 2000. Then it all starts over again. Simple comme bonjour.

That is exactly how I raid now except I get only near 1000 medals I cant believe I raided 5 mil food and 3 mil gold in 1,5hours with the TB. With the TB i swear this game got so much more fun! Thnx for the tips man.
