Please have a look at this attack vs my base and the outcome

Hello again!

I'd very much welcome your thoughts towards an attack vs my base. I'm very curious why I lost 5,607 oil instead of 2,204, since my refinery stands intact in 0 secs left.
Question no2 TinSoldier is there any way to examine if our friend here indeed claimed all the oil (thus cheating/exploiting) or is this just a bug?
I'm not very optimistic of having the unfairly lost amount of oil being refunded to my base, should I be?

Anyway, thanks for your time and your comments...

I can’t see your pics/vids but something similar happened to me the other day. I had max oil got raided with raiders. they did not touch my refinery yet I lost oil out of it. Probably new bug.

Hmmm... it seems the pictures didn't load. Would you be able to reach out to CS as well please?

It could be a few things.

1.) Some replays have been different if the attack happened before a rebalance change, and the viewing happened after.
2.) Perhaps it is a new bug we have to look into.

Thank you for calling it out - we'd be happy to investigate!

Mine was even worse. Said in defense log (couldn't attach pic cause every time I try it loads 60*60 thumbnail size instead of full picture) that I lost 866 oil instead of 4k as shown in replay.

Update : I couldn't even view older replays anymore. That was just 3 days ago?!

Sorry for not having the images correctly uploaded. CS told me that the battle was actual and the replay inaccurate. For the time being I have no reason to doubt that. Thank you for your comments

Replays are procedurally generated, i.e. the replay is not a recording of which troop is when at which position, but rather a recording of which troop was dropped where and when it received new orders (rally). Everything in between happens by the same AI as in a real time battle.
While that kind of replay is very effective in storage space, it suffers from the butterfly effect if the recording and playback of all orders given to the troops isn‘t perfectly synced (milliseconds matter). One single rifleman going right instead of left can cause the entire battle to playback differently.
It has been observed that betrayal might cause exactly that, as it may affect different defenders in replay...
