Please stop these events until the bugs/crashes are fixed

So I can't help but notice the massive problem today seemed to begin right around the time the new event was being pushed down, and the announcement that It was fixed came shortly after the event window popped up in my game. This can't be a coincidence imo. I love these events as much as anyone, but can WE PLEASE STOP THEM UNTIL THE NEW GAME IS STABILIZED ....

Even if it is not the cause, which I hardly think it's been for the last 6 weeks, these nonstop events can't be helping the stability, and the time and development dollars should be going to to fixing the major bugs and problems that exasperate all players on a daily basis...
