I had 22 everything else, and 7 diamonds, and I lose 4 diamonds, plus 4 total of the others. Why are diamonds so much easier to steal? Maybe only the first one should be easier, not all of them.
To frustrate you into buying them with crowns, that's why.
You might want to add:
'Why are they stolen from the TC when you have a storehouse?'
'Why aren't they in the vault?'
'Why does everybody steal mine but I rarely get them from others?'
'Why can the League Boat go a whole week without diamonds?'
'Why do shipments hardly ever have diamonds, only stuff I'm already maxed out on?'
I've had 3 and logged off thinking they can't take all 3, but they did, none left.
I regularly get taken for 5 diamonds, at least once a week. I noticed that attackers are more likely to steal the resources you're low on, the same goes when you attack, I mostly steal resources I'm close to full, I can go for hours having 4 resources maxed, and be very low on fur for example.
By attackers, you mean BHG's programmer responsible for it, the same person coding the war %, French 20% TB, barrack retrain, % of cider from trees, % of gold from mines, % of fur from bunnies/fox, etc.
