i guess it's hard to determine which civilization to add and at which age since u can't add USA since stone age, and also u can't add Egypt in middle ages ( since it was under french and british occupation) so i can't really tell how to add a nation and maintain history balance at the sametime

Russia was a great empire in classical ages and they were advanced nation in WWI & WWII
And don't forget that only active and upperhand nations from b.c. to present time can be fitted in this game
I am persian , persia was a great empire but in new ages from WWI persia didn't make a huge role in history so i didn't suggest it
USA , also can be add to this game but don't forget that the usa nation from b.c. were native americans and in new ages they are a nation from every country in the world
So my only vote is Russian

Nations that make much more sense than Korea (no offense intended) include:

Russia
Persia
Egypt
Arabs
India
USA

Since we have Greece and Rome, I think Persia, Egypt and other nations that are not as prominent now are absolutely still on the table.

at least half of the current players will quit the game if Israel was added, and rightfully so. It is the equivalent of adding North Korea or pre-Mandela South Africa

The big question is always who is defining terrorism? According to Assad, the US supports the terrorist rebels in Syria...Would you exclude Saudi Arabia as they clearly support organizations that the US considers to be terrorists?

I think recent genocide is the line that should not be crossed, even in a game...

@Motaz: Israel was a nation in the first millenium BC. Though small, and insignificant apart from the founding of judaism. There is however no evidence that the people of Israel were ever (enslaved) in Egypt.

Oh, hmmm. Heh. What would happen if Spain wasn't in the picture? Let's see. We wouldn't have massive amounts of Catholics around the world. Also, the Aztecs and the Inca would still be alive, but the Portuguese would just take Spain's place (oh wait, Portugal declared independence of Spain in late 1300's so no Portugal). Arguably, they would've still died off by some other colonizer.
Spain didn't contribute much? They sure did. There would be no Spanish Civil War to test out Axis Power's weapons. This would also link to no Carlos V of the Hapsburgs, who led the HRE, whose family eventually became Austria after the Thrity Years War. Where could all this point to? It points to Spain being a strong presence in history. Also. If you're talking about world powers, only Russia and Turkey would be on this list.

I only see 5 *real options moving to atomic. As mentioned Russia and the USA are a given. India is also fairly obvious from a historical standpoint, and they're still relevant today. Egypt is another no brainer option. The last should be Persia, as it was far and away the largest of the historical civilizations. Obviously the Persian empire is no longer in existence, but it encompassed virtually everywhere around the Mediterranean and had a huge influence on world culture and technology.

I can say about India. It has a very strong history of great emperors. Currently, it stands as one of the leaders when it comes to defense power.

I think US,Russia,India and Persia(or even better Iran) are the best nations that Nexon should think about adding them to the list

Nexon has two options for nations, first following the real world history; in this way you should choose an ancient nation at the beginning like Persia, Egypt, Rome … and you have to change it when the era of that nation is passed. This nation change can be done in IA and without any price.
The second option is what Nexon is doing now. Considering some nations that have some differences but they don’t have necessarily the greatest part of the world history. In this way the nation name is just a name, so don’t look at it as your nationality and don’t look for your nation in this list. In WWII best tanks belonged to British and German while in the game the tanks are for French and Greek!
I personally prefer the first option, a nation change is necessary if we want to play the real history but with current system the nations are just names and not related to real nation’s history so I suggested you to stop this endless discussion about you requested nations.

I don't say that with a nationalist's perspective. I've stated my opinion. The point is the new nation and i said it would be cool if it would be. And if nexon wouldnt have made a historical game there wouldn't be any nation in this game. İ dont expect a perfect fiction anyway.
