... the forum was a fun chat filled place? I still see fun posts & there are some of us that still ham it up (who shall remain Bran .... sorry, nameless!) - but because of all the bugs & glitches people still feel the need to re-iterate the bleedin' obvious and, while l can sympathise, the forum's getting a little 'moody'. By all means, add something to existing threads but do we really need thread after thread about ''my war crashed'' or ''l can't log in'' ??

I know you're frustrated - we all are - but customer service is where you're better off going. l am more than happy to help someone who needs advice on what wonder to choose but I'm next to useless at helping you fix your missing tactics glitch ..... ya know ..... ?

Anyway, I want to make sure we keep this forum on track - that track being the silly, quirky place it can & should be - and I'm sure I'm not alone - where bromances & moderator crushes with ethereal beings metamorphosising (?) & dual personalities & silliness & tom foolery & unicorns & wandering monkey men once again fill the ether - so ''now for something completely different'' ..... (feel free to ignore or add any ridiculous thing you want)

The other day we got a call from an architect who wanted to complain about the product we sent him. He ordered a small tube called a concentric reducer - it is a tube about a foot long and is smaller at one end, designed to join two different diameter pipes. (Like a funnel).

Anyway, he called and complained that he ''ordered a concentric reducer and you people have sent me a concentric increaser'' ....... *face palm*

You've echoed my sentiments, Ravenlord! Spot on! I was sharing similar thoughts with my wife this morning, and I'm glad to see this great post from you!

Sure, there are issues, but, there's still quite a lot to enjoy about this game.
And, if someone is so frustrated about the game, nothing stops them from quitting the game and moving on to something they enjoy better, and feel is a better use of their time.
It helps none to constantly complain here on the forum, and spread negativity.

It was the fun-filled place the forum was (and, still is, to a large extent), which brought me here, and I'm sure I'm not alone on this.
Let's work together in making this a great and fun-filled place to hang around!

Agreed, GailWho! Looking forward to the university feature! And, to the Great Leaders release (if they aren't the same).
And, if past trends are anything to go by, I'm fully expecting a discount event tomorrow, which might help us upgrade some of our defensive capabilities, and or, something which requires the use of gold and/or oil for upgrades. I've planned my upgrades such that I'll have about 12 workers freed up over the course of Friday and Saturday. So what if there isn't advance notification? There's fun in guessing too

And, let me join in on the fun in the meantime too *takes two paint guns, load one with green pellets, another with blue pellets, runs to HZ bouncy castle, shoots GailWho with green paint, runs off and steps into BV123's gifts he had left behind, shoots own legs with blue paint, runs off, finds Brand Marrow sitting by the riverside, playfully takes his sword Bokkelul, waves at him, runs off, loads a yellow pellet in a paint gun, finds Empire and shoots her with the yellow paint, and runs off in search of Ravenlord to shoot him with orange paint*

Damn, damn damn! Flash I was so excited to hear I'm not the only one who shared this type of stuff with their wife/significant other but then Empire herself chimes in and ruins it for me, announcing she plays the game, too.

So is it still cool if I rant and rave to my girlfriend when she not only does not play but can't understand why I play so much and really the only reason I tell her anything about the game is so I can get the cute, playful, MOCKING nod of the head and smile she gives me in her way of silently announcing not only am I a closet nerd but she indeed has not the slightest clue as to what the hell I'm talking about?
