Request related to buildings bought or won

I would like to propose a new BHG policy related to offense-defense buildings which players buy or win. Most players buy these buildings for wars. I know I do. The problem is that often we get huge war mismatch’s. Example, half the war match’s at Tactical Dragons are ridiculously huge mismatchs. I for one always put up two buildings which I buy in the VIP store constantly. These buildings cost me 2000-2500 crowns each. That is real money.
When we get these mismatchs the underdog opponents often don’t even fight. As a result, my two buildings are totally wasted for 48 hours. Then, when we get back to back mismatches the buildings are wasted even longer. At one point two weeks ago we had 6 out of 7 really bad mismatchs. But, as usual I still consistently buy these buildings and keep them up and they often go to waste. I’m simply not getting good value for what I pay for these buildings.

One solution could be for BHG to reimburse us for buying these buildings. After all, it is BHG’s matching system which causes these mismatches. I’m not here to make BHG the bad guy. I do understand that creating a war matching system is complex with many moving parts. So, I have an idea and solution.
If BHG were to reimburse us it could create a customer service nightmare for them. That is not a good idea. So I propose this. Change all offense and defense building duration times to 10 days vs 7 days. It would at least allow more time for better matchs where these buildings are not wasted. Seems like a reasonable request and easy to do.
I just want value for what I pay for and this solution would help some.

Wouldn't it be better if you could "pause" the buildings?
When paused, the time stops running, but all the advantages that the building offers are deactivated. To avoid abusing the system, perhaps with a 24/48h cooldown before you can switch back.
This is also a good option but I think you could conceivably make a building last months this way. Not something BHG is likely to encourage. 😄

You could buy them for 3 ww and not for a period of time. It would be even better to choose in which wars you want to use them by putting them in war base or not.
