This afternoon I went and researched the Composite Bowman upgrade on my Iron Age town, playing as Greeks. Came back and no upgrade is being researched and the spent food is gone.

The "Ghost attack while online" bug is nearly tolerable. This is not. I want my 45k food back.

This Is Also happening to me at Bronze Age and it is a game breaking design imo since I couldn't keep up with other player defense of my troops never levels What such the most is im already committed to this game since I have bought the $10 starter pack I already send an email please fix this bug soon

I think that the game is quite enjoyable, but the cheating and the bugs are poking the game on the kidney with a hot knife.

IMHO a "Mea culpa! Here is a huge temporary boast to your economy" event should be in order to fix the worldwide premiere mess.
