Sabotage not working?!?

So for the past few wars, I have noticed that even when I use a sabotage on the opponent's TC, while it prevents the TC itself from shooting at me, whatever troops have been donated to the war base still come out. At first I just thought I was waiting too long (I tried squeezing every bit of time possible while the orange bar progressed before deploying the tactic). So I began sabotaging much earlier with the same end result. Then I figured that perhaps I have to use the sabotage before the orange bar even shows up. Nope. Same thing. So now every time I attack in war, my sabotage is useless, artillery pops out of the TC, and my army is destroyed.

Yes, I know... I should consider using a different troop combination and plan accordingly, but I shouldn't have to. I used to get 5 stars nearly every time and now I'm reduced to about 2. Anyone else having this issue?

You have to place the sabotage before any troop comes in range of the TC, otherwise donated troops will instantly come out without any delay.

Gotcha. I swear I never noticed this before and I'm in IA at level 140. Was I just blind or is this something new?

Yeah, sab sometimes doesnt work. Wait long enough before attacking to make sure the gear icon apoears on the building u sab.
