Way too long that we didn't talked about our favorite topic : sandbagging.

So a little poll to check on the current status. Do you sandbag ?

Every alliance my alliance has come across in the past I don't even know how long has been sandbagging. It is time to accept this as a part of the game and implement it in your alliance. The game is surprisingly fair when both sides in a war are doing this. lol

stupid poll. enough on the topic. either get in a group that that can win against baggers or figure out how to do a lineup to protect against baggers. otherwise be silent.

Our alliance does not sand bag and we noticed that in the last two wars our enemies were not sand bagging either. Also took longer to find a match.

Did Nexon put in a fix?!

nope. many groups bag but figured out how to hide they bag with bag shields. obvious baggers use minimum 2 irons.

Sandbagging means using small accounts to lower the team's average level. In the beggining of WW, you could see an alliance using 55% of its players being maxed out players, with 45% iron age level 9-10 players who weren't attacking, called sandbags. (WW matchmaking is according to the avrage of all players' levels)

Since then, the term has been misused so much that a concensus on a real definition is impossible to achieve. To some, using Enlightment players, even if they participate, along with Cold War players, is called sandbagging. Really, any mixed level alliance can be considered sandbaggers.

BHG has done a good job eliminating the first version of the 55/45 sandbagging. You could still do it, but it makes for very boring wars. Today many alliances do it for various reasons, on purpose, or just because that's the players they have.

In the end, sandbagging, where you would add non-participating iron age level dummy accounts, can be done by any alliance. Some choose not to do it, some do, some adapt, some never will...

I hope you understand my vote was ironic, because I think none of us should know what is sandbagging and how to do it. Is this so hard to play fair???

Fair play means playing according to rules, but to many it means letting them win like I do with my 6 year old nephew. Learn to adapt, stop waiting for the system to change

While it's frowned upon, it's not against the rules of the game. We've fought people have had level 30-40 bases alongside level 220 and some of us call that sandbagging.

We have now had 4 wars in a row where our opponent has not sand bagged (and we don’t sand bag). Any other alliances they do not sand bagging noticing similar?

A war should be the same number of players battling. 20 v 20 etc. If you are up against an alliance that their bottom 5 have not been online in 3 weeks and are level 10. But the top half are over 200, it will never be a fair match. You shouldn't be able to pick players for war if they haven't been online for a few days. This does not fix it, but at least it makes it slightly harder.

We shouldn't have to live with it, either it's. 20 players against 20 players or is not!!! By saying we have to sangbag because others do, it a pathetic weak argument.
