Anyone else having issues with the screen lagging (freezing) while moving around your base?

I had this issue 2 updates ago ( I think 2) but they managed to fix it with the next update, now it's back.

With the new update 4.6 it freezes and it crash from time to time. Never had these problem. Can you do something?

Screen Lag is horrible.
Just started with this latest update (aug 18).
I never had it before.

2 blown war attacks.
Can't drop troop quickly.
Trying to rally/target towncenter and it misses ... army goes to the wrong place and gets slaughtered.

Ugh.

Having the same issue, mainly during war less in general battle now.

This is effecting me too and only since the recent update. Even when looking at my base there's some stuttering and in battles it's like watching a slide show. If I view a replay of the battle though, it's smooth like it was before.

Yeah, since 4.6 update I get a slideshow on Nvidia Shield K1, and rather bad lag on iPad Air 2. Cs is clueless as always, recommends restarting the device and disabling sounds, but of course none of their suggestions work.

I made a thread about it awhile ago but yea, the game's optimization really feels off for older devices. It's a slideshow, and fighting with the deploy bar to deploy and command my troops during low fps is actually, legitimately more frustrating than having to deal with the AI doing their things.

The devices I mentioned above are nowhere near of being old. Nvidia tablet was released in November 2015, and can output 4K signal to TV, so it has more than enough horsepower to run this game. iPad Air 2 was released in October 2014, so still a few years from being old.
So in addition to running bad on older devices, the game runs poorly on fairly recent hardware too.

Nowhere on the known issues list says anything about better game optimisations, so this problem won't be fixed any time soon. This game eats way too many resources, it's becoming unplayable fast, with every new update. I stopped spending any money in the game, because i see no future anymore.

Well to get their attention on the poor optimization for Android people would have to be more vocal. That is if this is more of an Android related issue. Reply back if you're running this game on Android and having this fps/screen lag issue.

I have an android, actually 4, and I've experienced the lag on the 2 newest devices - both global - only in the last week ..... related to the update??? Draw your own conclusions....

Same here, lagging as hell when I tried to deploy troops in World War. It even hard to scroll the map.

And now it is getting worse. I've experienced a noticeable lag in my own town base, in multiplayer battle, and now I've lost battle results and my whole troops for quite a few times lately because of the spinning wheel of death. This is never happened before in regular multiplayer battle. My internet connection is perfect, it runs on wifi with fiber optic backbone. My device is excellent too. This problem clearly lies on Nexon part.

For about half an hour i am trying to make an attack in multiplayer battles. I get both spinning wheels and then the connection drops.
After the last update i get the spinning wheel twice or more in every battle. And lag!

I have 2 accounts on my phone with app for the second one. Both of them on my Android smart phone often experiences lags. This is usually because the device usually heats up and takes a lot of RAM. Comparing to my iPad, it works fine on my tablet. Any user with 1 GB RAM would not have the best experience with DomiNations because they are mostly the main cause of lags.

This usually affects the multiplayer battles also. That's why I frequently attack the town centers first JIC it crashes. (Not the bases with Forbidden City)

The alliance messages can take up to between 5-20 seconds to be successfully sent depending on the internet connection and sometimes it doesn't get sent... Well idk.

The best times to play DomiNations on the android phone is when your battery temperature is cool and you have less RAM being used. I currently have no comment for Apple phones since I don't have any devices like that.

How does this explain why there are people are only experiencing this since the 4.6 update? My device has 3GB Ram and it's still at times a slideshow.

It's interesting and somehow amusing to see how the moderators are avoiding this thread. I see replies from moderators in every other hot thread but this one. Meanwhile more and more people are complaining. It's like howling at the moon.
I too run a business and my main objective is to have happy customers, cause i want their money. I don't get Nexon's strategy...

Their sales strategy is inverted. You want happy customers because you'll continue to get their money. Nexon need our money to fix the game which will then make us happy.
