Searching for Immortals

I have got back to the game after more than a year and tried searching for my old alliance. "Immortals". There are quite a few by that name but could not find the right one. Is it possible that the alliance no longer exists and is deleted (not just inactive) from the game? Is there a way to search for specific players who were in that alliance?. Pls guide.

you can search for player names in the list of players
