Jesus. You have got to be kidding me. This is EXACTLY what virtually everyone here said not to do — put the event behind a paywall, charge a ridiculous price, and there’ll probably be a critical bug rolling back people’s progress. (Just kidding. Probably. Maybe.)

I wonder when the point will come that I’ll just say “GFY” and leave the game, but it’s definitely coming soon if every event requires you to buy a ludicrously overpriced pass. And this is speaking as someone who actually bought the last one for the WWII event, because I thought it was a one-off event.

I bought the last pass too, but this time I'm going to pass. Extra xp if you buy the pass pretty much guarantees leaderboard to paying players only. And I'm not looking to grind like I did during last event just to be able to compete.

Also, plenty of free rewards; I don't understand why you are complaining so much.

Lastly, it appears museum upgrades for XP was removed so this is good; and troop donation XP too. Maybe they are part of Goals (so, a smaller part overall) but at least give them credit for listening/changing these parts.

That said, I can't tell how the XP earned works; e.g., 1 XP per defensive building or 1 XP for any number of defensive buildings. We'll see. If the former than the pass' 2 XP per 1+ star battle is tiny; whereas the latter would be 50% XP boost (pretty big).

this event is much more promising than the previous because of the elimination of troop donations and museum grind. Rewards are ok.

BUT YOU MADE A HUGE MISTAKE

Why give pass players more XP? This negates the whole aspect of FAIR PLAY. This is not an even playing field for all. Pure injustice if you ask me....
Remove this and we have a very good event for all players.

It _appears_ to be a token amount though; say a ~5% increased XP per battle. We'll see though if this is true as the parameters are unclear. I think a 10% or less increase is perfectly reasonable.

I agree... free players are a huge part of this game. Without them, this game would be in trouble. Nexon needs to make money, I get that, but this isn’t the way to do it. Give pass buyer better goal awards, but leave the leaderboard on an even par.
