starter pack 2

Today i discovered that a new starter pack (crowns + 1 "extra" house) has been proposed. And having 8 houses is appealing.

However, if correctly remember, if such an extra house was obtained by purchasing the starter pack 1 (which i didn't buy at this time) then no house could be built in industrial age: the extra house bonus was negated in industrial age.

Furthermore, I notice that each two ages a new house can be build. Therefore, as no new house can be built at global age, an additional house is to be expected in the next age.

Therefore my question is: if I purchase the starter pack 2, will the extra house bonus be negated in the next age? :p

Thank you for your answers!

i bought it and i think it's worth it. you get an early house that will save you lots of time in the long run and lots of gold (it would probably cost over 10 million gold). thinking back i should have gotten starter pack 1 as well.

If I purchase starter pack one and not two, do I have 16 workers in IA? (14+2)

And if I purchase starter pack two as well, does it mean the total is 18 workers? (14+2+2)

I'm thinking the same to be honest. bought it as soon as it appeared in my game. the number of workers is definitely the bottleneck with the ridiculous upgrade times now.

personally i find it a very shady ploy introducing something like this and making it unobtainable without spending money. making it very difficult (ie 10 million gold or 5,000 crowns to buy the house would be fine) paying for shortcuts doesn't really bother me. exclusivity on the otherhand is extremely disheartening.

no. with Starter pack 1 you get the IA worker early. So if you buy starter pack 2 you get 16 workers

I am tempted to buy this starter pack, even though it is more than twice as expensive as the first one. However I will not do so if I don't get confirmation that this one will not be taken away. So please moderators let us know.

And number of workers required...

Fort and watch towers require more workers now for upgrades... -__-

If I were to guess, it will be negated by a house in Atomic. Everything points towards it being this way. However, I felt there was enough value in having a bonus house during my next 3-6 months in global to get it anyways.

Hey guys, Messaged customer service and this starter pack II is similar to starter pack I. You don't permanently get an extra house, just an extra house earlier. It gives an advantage in time saved and you progress faster while gaining a temporary advantage before other players catch up. Some folks were hoping to gain a permanent advantage, but were disappointed later.

That makes no sense, and if true I'll just contact apple now for a refund lol. Since I used the crowns in SP2 to advance to GBA haha.

Hi everyone! Like the original Starter Pack, the House included in Starter Pack II is a House from the future - what you are purchasing is early access to that house (and avoiding the resource cost of the new house in the later age!). Sorry for any confusion!

I think it really crappy that the starter pack takes a house from future ages.
It should be a simple extra house for supporting the game.
An extra house in no ways makes you militarily more powerful either offensively or defensively so it shouldn't matter.
The claims that it keeps the game even are a blatant lie.
Anyone having one earlier is already given the advantage of growing faster.
So it pointless to then later take it away.
We should keep that extra growth potential we purchased.
This is just like the crappy events I don't spend money on cause they take away the prize.

If everyone is always sorry for the confusion, why not just adjust the wording, finally? Avoid people threatening to get a refund.

Updates often include wording changes- even fixing capitalization of 'Co-Leader' once. So I imaging changing 'extra' to 'early' isn't that challenging.

Good response.
But I am sure they wish to purposely keep it misleading to trick people into buying it and then getting angry later about it.

Sorry but this is a one nasty sells trick...
Extra house mean as it say, one house more!
I pay money to get one additional house!
This trick obviously done deliberately and fool's people.
To say sorry is not enough, nexon should give one more house to people who paid for it or return back the money.
