Here is a list of things that I currently see as issues with the game, that have been left unaddressed for quite some time. It would be really nice to get some communication on whether these things are being looked at.

1) World War Replays - These have been promised for months, and I really so no reason that they are that much more complicated to do than the normal replay system. I realize the normal replay system is not perfect, but its better than nothing and the delay on implementing this is starting to get frustrating. What is going on? Why is World War replay so much more complicated to offer than normal replays?

2) Nation Balance - There is a clear imbalance in relative power of the various nations, and anyone can see it. British are the top dog, hands down (some may disagree, but based on how often I am attacked by British and how much more Wood I have than any other Coalition resource, there is strong anecdotal evidence). French, Germans, Koreans, and Romans are solid choices, but do not objectively compare to the power of the British. Chinese, Japanese, and Greeks are dog**** and not worth picking unless you just enjoy that nation or the look of their troops. There is a serious need to tone down the British and power up the Chinese, Japanese, and Greeks to level the playing field. Are the developers even aware of how bad the discrepancy is and are there any plans to fix it? I would love to play the Japanese, but they are just awful. Give me a reason to use them!

3) Troop Balance - Troop balance is still way off. Mortars and Commandos are absolutely useless. Bazookas have potential but are plagued by AI problems. Heavy Tanks are still questionable in their utility given their high troop capacity cost. Rifles/SMGs are far too strong. I appreciate that Assault Infantry got a nice stealth buff in the Cast Iron Level 5 upgrade recently, but they are still not as good as Rifles/SMGs. I don't know what needs to be done to bring things in line, but something does or we will continue to see the cookie cutter Howitzer, Tank, SMG, Supply Truck that everyone uses, because there really is no incentive to use anything else. Are there any plans to try to bring the troops more in line with each other? Why even bother having some of these troop types if they are going to be so completely overshadowed?

4) Alliance Management - There are many gaps in managing and participating in alliances, such as:

- Not being able to see member World War bases before they are invited to participate. This is a huge flaw that needs to be addressed ASAP.
- Not being able to share replays with alliance members. This is not vital but it is possible in other games and would be a huge boost to alliances helping each other to improve.
- Not being able to create separate chat channels within alliances for council and leadership. This would greatly benefit discussions, particularly ones that should only involve council members

I love this game, but I really wish the developers would weigh in more on some of these things. Spending time on these things would be much more beneficial than adding superfluous things like more additional generals and the atrocious war coalitions.

Even without more recent feedback, I feel pretty confident saying that they are definitely working on getting war replays. The balance issues I think will always exist because it's a matter of what your gaming/attack strategies are that decides what you think of each nation. A lot of people actually like the Greek nation, I'm a die hard German player and I even before they got Teutonic Fury...just the rally bonus was enough for me lol. My point is, it's all about how you look at it. Your points in #4 may be valid, but they are probably not high priority on my list of things and most likely not very high on Nexons list, assuming they are paying attention to what players are complaining about.

Actually #4 is the single most important part of any modern game - without it a game is dead in the water, and we have one of the most shambolic and feeble systems ever devised.

Yeah I'm going to disagree...maybe the replay sharing is more valuable than I may have said, but #1 kind of covers that. Not seeing WW bases may be an inconvenience but it's not a gaping hole. And chat...may seem like it's super important, but look at games like COC that have had garbage chat and are just fine. I thin I'm basically saying #4 is overvalued.

The replay system is flawed because it is not a recording, but a play through based on the troop deployments, rallies and tactics. If they implemented the same system that is used in multiplayer mode, you would see war replays of a five star attack that show the enemy getting wiped. There is NO point in releasing a war replay system if it is not accurate. So yes, they have multiplayer replays, but they are flawed. I would prefer they not implement the multiplayer replay system in world war, and I am pretty sure they feel the same way.

They have been trying to fix the multiplayer replay system since it came out, but there really is no fix for it. The troops all have randomness in their actions, so replays might have a troop/s behaving in different manners, resulting in different outcomes. So they would have to create an entirely new system to handle war replays, hence the long delay. They do not want to straight up record attacks from all war battles, imagine the data storage required for that?!

So, we are stuck waiting for them to develop a new system so we can view war attacks.

Side note: the only real reason to want to implement the multiplayer replay system in war attacks would be so you could know if your opponent is dropping the correct number of tactics/troops and not cheating. This could be achieved by implementing an attack log system for wars like multiplayer defense. Seeing incorrect troop actions isn't really helpful to know how your base was destroyed.

U know why Brits are soooo OP? Because TimTrain use them during his game :(

And it's very hard to protect against them because most defenses range is shorter than Brits archers + artilery combo

I actually think the recent additions with university have provided a pretty good defense against them. Mortars now have some 50% extra hp, 10% faster attack speed to out speed healers healing per second, 30% more damage too. Not to mention the 10% more damage from a tower blessing's already 21% damage bonus. Not even mentioning the coalitions. That's basically having a mortar that's 50% of another mortar in 1 mortar. If you had two mortars they would technically be doing almost as much damage output as 3 combined, and the best part is all that bonus stuff is easily achievable too since it's only behind lvl 1 and lvl 2 university.

It might not sound all that dangerous considering ranged infantry got university buffs too in a 30% + damage and hp bonus. But healers got no hp buffs this patch. Only higher healing. Those mortars and archer towers doing 30% more damage? If they so much as aim at your healers they'll be roasted, and an army without its healers alive might as well be like breaking a guy's back in two. Sort of like a certain masked man did to a certain "hero of the night" or whatever his name is that one time.

#1 is the most important by far. #4 would be next. Such a good game that is really hurt by the lack of war replays.

War replays could also help to promote the game on YT etc. but their programmers can't do it yet. They are just learning ;)

I don't understand that. I have replays in high leaguer that like war battle and the replays are acceptable most of the time, at least in the first halfs. the stars may not correct but the replays still be useful.

If you're making an issues list, don't forget randomly vanishing chat messages and abysmal troop AI

Wouldn't it be so nice to have war replays or even enough respect from the developer team or Even a mod to give an honest answer.

Tim train do you really think the developers are any good? Iv it was really nice how our newest mod hit the floor running answering questions and now nothing. Nothing at all. Dosnt answer the real questions. Doesn't respond when sending screen shot of hackers bases or respond with a ty I will start the process nothing. Amazing guess he went it his second meeting after he was a over this stuff asking questions getting answeres to son your hired to moderate the forums do that leave the rest to the real development team😜 Idk just sounds like a good excuse

Most of your points raised are good, but not really immediate concerns because of the way Nexon works, which is beyond the word slow when it comes to benefiting players. For examples, range unit suffer terrible AI too, and a wrong rally gets them shooting at different walls. I would prefer an actual fix on AI before they start talking about balancing or introducing new stuff, which we know complicates the system and creating more bugs on top of the long list of unresolved ones now.

Remember the time when they did aesthetic changes on the alliance gate, allowing us to sort by activity level etc? Alliances suffer for months since 3.7 update with a trickle or no new recruits because they wanted to balance and provide newer alliances better exposure, but instead foolishly populating the search engine with many dead inactive clans. It took them 1 month of silence, 1 month to acknowledge the problem, 1 month to promise a fix, 1 month to work on the fix and by the time the fix was out, most players that are still around have accepted the bug and wasn't excited when it finally came around. When it was as simple as why can't you reroll back the previous one which was working fine?

I was not here back then, but the last time they did balancing on Greek, it made them useless and it has been 9 months since I started playing and there isn't any improvements. Greek vs French, pretty straightforward choice, isn't it? Do we want to nerf another nation British, which I'm sure they will overdo it and it will become useless forever like Greek and a 1000 complains here won't change a thing. If they were to bother, wonders such as pyramids, hanging gardens etc would have been buffed long ago.

Not that your ideas aren't good, but from the track record of how Nexon works, adding world war replays, share replays, more chat channels etc will probably destabilize this super fragile system even more. I have learnt to tone down my expectations to keep myself happy, no crash, no outstanding bugs etc and I'm contended.

Nation Balance:

There won't be one or if there is it will be in the opposite direction.

My 2nd account is Gunpowder, it seems most new players pick Greek, Japanese or Chinese, I'm overflowing with scrolls, towels and teapots - new players choose these nations because they believe farming, defences or manpower is the route forward. Until they realise their mistake around EA time and switch to British, French, Korean, German or Roman.

That'll be 600 crowns please.

Same with wonders, farming means Hanging Gardens, Pyramids so need to change those too.

So if there is a tweak, Greeks, Japanese, Chinese are going to made to look more attractive to newcomers to encourage more switching later. i.e. military wise they will be nerfed, economically stronger.

Expect changes when a couple of new nations are added, which they will to encourage more 600 crown expenditure, probably new nations won't be available until EA/IA just to make sure you switch.

If they get it right, you won't be able to start with a single nation to carry you through to Atomic. You'll have to start Greek/Japan/China, switch to British/French/Roman/Korean in Medieval, switch to USA/Russia in IA just to progress.
