Do you need to have a stronghold building in world war?

Yes. If anyone from your alliance donated troop tactics to you, it will spawn from Stonghold. It will add boost to your defense.

Nope. You need a command post for world war.

Thx I wasn’t sure seems strange seeing a Industrial Age in war with no stronghold building.
