Upgrading my Strike Fighter Mk1 to Mk2 isn't at a reduced price from that I can tell (my price is 157,500 oil).

I was sort of hoping that the Atomic rush would culminate with a rollout of the Cold War Age, with the ability to rush up the TC like the other age rushes.

if not then im going to bet the lose more players over it. many were already upset they didnt have them during the event as you didnt benefit for many weeks unless you had a building in that weeks event.

I used the chance to jump to Atomic Age with an instant TC upgrade. 12 citizens for 12 days is too good to miss out on. However, the discounts, while nice especially for the expensive airfield, castle etc is not that useful, as you more or less can do three upgrades due to the length of each upgrade. After my instant upgrade, I started a barracks and a tank depot, which means 9 citizens are busy for almost two weeks. I can upgrade the armory soon but that was that....hmmm

I find the discounts highly useful. I will take any and every chance i get to save 50% oil cost. Ive saved nearly 500k oil between the IA and GA discount weeks. Im hoping to save 50% on the air strip but im not sure ill be able to farm the oil in AA with only IA troops.

Raiding is working okay for me - I just have to use a training blessing on raiding troops to raid / drop all the way down, and then use my normal troops to come back up. But really looking forward to howitzers in two more days...

I started to get TH raided so ive decided right now, without a good offense, im going to spend my oil as fast as possible. I have started Command tech tree, getting that 3rd general for wars is more important than the level 4 air strip. Ill hope that we get an airfield discount in a weekend event in the near future, once i have an offense.
