TinSoldier, I urge you to talk to the people that make these decisions.

What I think needs to change is the week long event. What i mean by that is, after the first week anyone in classical that didnt go up in age because they are being responsible and trying to max their base, are now done with the event.

So my suggestion is not to end it when the new age event starts. Let classical age players and so on as we move to different ages, keep the discounts and instant TC upgrades until the end of the Summer for the Ages.

The better solution would be Unlock every age for the duration of the event. We really need to get the playerbase into higher ages and making the change would help some.

It still isnt truly a rush though because it still takes the same amount of time to upgrade something. When it comes to IA and i go to upgrade my defense, ill get just 3 buildings upgraded since they are all 7+ days. This event really isnt helping me 'rush' to the next age. Giving a 25% time reduction would be way more beneficial than the resource discount. In a few hours time i can raid enough resources to upgrade any building.

I do like the idea of allowing lower-Age players to participate for all of the Summer for the Ages. After all, higher-Aged players can use the events to upgrade things they may have missed in previous ages!

You are correct with the 'rush' tag, At lower Ages, a 1 day build time still fits in the event, but I could see other upgrades stretching beyond their week. If we run a similar event in a future season, we will have to the wording or the reductions.

Or maybe have the rush weeks overlap so that they effectively last two weeks. Week one is classical rush, week two classical/medieval, week three medieval/GP, etc...
