Thanks for pointing that out. It is Haile Selassie's capstone, so it makes sense that it is Ethiopian. But the nationality isn't in the name, so I think my reasoning still holds up.

I'm not out. $15 worth of crowns for all those boosts? For a month? I think it's a good deal. But I have a lot of wall upgrades to spend the extra resources on. If you have maxed walls I can see how it might not be worth it.

Is SOVIET POWER PLANT that kind of building devs were talking about months ago - that the sooner u buy it the longer it will be in your base? So i.e. if I buy it today it will be in my base for 30 days?

Time remaining counter in this building is already going down!

The building is temporary. It will last until May 2nd, no matter when you place it. If you are going to buy it, do it sooner rather than later.

Just what I thought which is the reason I posted this question on DomiNations facebook page......If the countdown timer has already started and you are losing days before the building expires, then why does the price remain the same with each passing day? If I decide to buy it with 7 days left before its expiration is it still going to be the same price? Why would I pay 2,999 crowns for a week? Shouldnt there be some type of price reduction with each passing day?

Sorry to be jumping in here so late. This is indeed a Global Expiration Event Building. It will be removed when the timer runs out.

I apologize for the generic use of "Event Building" on the stream. Some of you may recall the last time we introduce a building like this was the Present Workshop, which didn't play as nicely with our timer as we wanted it to. (For those curious for a look behind-the-curtain, we also created a 7-day version of the Soviet Power Plant as a back-up. We didn't anticipate any problems this time around, but it felt better to be safe than sorry.)

Which leads back to my comment from earlier....Why is the price the same regardless of when you buy it? As of now its on sale for roughly 24 more days, but the Global timer says it expires in 27 days.If we purchase it on the 24th day are we still going to pay 2,999 crowns for the remaining 3 days ( the same price as it was for the full 30 days)?

There is a discrepancy between the remaining time shown below the building when I tap it (14 days) and when I look at the info screen (22 days). Which is correct?
