It looks like the Training Blessing has changed in the last update so it is less effective, but there is nothing about this in the patch notes.
Melee troops used to be 4 seconds to train, now they are 7 seconds, almost double in time, but the tooltip still says 88% reduced time (which comes out to 4.2 seconds).
