Lol, my German army requires 1st 20-25 mins to get into War Rythm & then groove & shake there opponents in the battle in the next 35 mins :p :p
By the way I am around 1500 medal level,so I never face no opponents situation :-D

Well, that explains it..

I'll have to say, come up to 2400 + medal range and lets see if you still think an hour is a good way of dumping trade goods into a pitch black hole.

no really, I can understand anybody, who does not encounter no opponents, that it does not really matter how long a TB lasts.

But beside the no opponent fact, there is also a life outside dominations, and I will not allow a game taking over control over my private life by hanging on to a screen for a hour hoping for some battles that may or may not appear, only to give up after half an hour and let the other half drain away, putting the game aside, only to discover that a counter attack stole 20 medals from me, while I had maybe 3-7 battles in that hour or half hour for 1 freaking medal.

The medal system is already corrupt at the moment, the pool of opponents is very very small in the higher leagues, an hour watching the screen draining away trade goods with nothing in return isn't helping to make the game any better.

I'm starting to loose interest in the game every day a little more, won't take long and I'll quit.

that means 2 more abandoned bases added to the pathetic pool of maxed-out-cheat or abandoned bases (which are most of the bases I get for the freaking 1 medal and the handful of resources)

leoelephant, thx for trying to clarify! :)

I think your equations do work though, considering it uses all percentages. So with your numbers:
a=time, b=French buff, c=TB buff; the 2m TB buff converted to percentage of time is 20%
10m * (1-20%) * (1-20%) = 6.4m (calculating TB first yields same result, as you say)

Both of your equations also work with the current percentage buff system, for both French (a=150s, b=20%, c=66%) and other nations (a=150s, b=0%, c=66%).

But, also my calculations yield the same result whether inserting French or TB percentages (hypothetical or actual values) first. Both of our equations result in a reduction of 20% training time switching to French. Maybe I missed something else because I thought you were saying our equations should have yielded different results, but I think they achieved the same purpose. I think, perhaps, the crux of your theory was that if the TB were to be a set time reduction (not percentage reduction) then the values would not work- but different army compositions can have different rebuild times, so a straight reduction in minutes couldn't work; for example, if I'm only rebuilding 3 foot troops across my 3 barracks you can't take 2m off of 35s.

acied, I am a player that, in a very calculated way, keeps medals at a certain level, which does not encounter no opponents. And I agree with you, that dumping an hour long TB is a waste. I may not be experiencing the same frustrations- but in terms of the flexibility in my time, I much preferred the old TB 30m, 1diamond 3cider. If I could do more I did, if I couldn't I wouldn't. Unfortunately, I think Ravenlord is probably right about all the talk about this! :S

Yes I know that it might be an issue with BHG that proposing things like this could backfire in a very bad way, bad I'm not calling a nerf or a buff, I suggest to simply keep it the same only chop it up, or at least for the time till they find a solution for the medal reward/no opponents issue(s).

I still believe that if medal become more rewarding, people will do less attacks and the pool of attackable bases will automatically be bigger, cause most players are now attacking as much bases as possible in their time available, to compensate for any counter attack.

There must be more members using the TB, vote and give this a wide range of user opinions !
