Trench and some nation ideas

Hi everyone,
I think it would be nice if we could build some extra defensive buildings like a trench. Currently we can build caltrops, bastions and walls to slow down enemy units, which 2 of them can be destroyed.
So what about a building or structure which cannot be destroyed but can force enemy units to go through specific cross points? My idea is a bunch of 4-5 line space trench building (not a trap) which slows down enemy adjacent units.

In addition, I've also read some interesting ideas in this forum, like naval units able to bombard the shore, naval trade and fishing. That would be amazing

Also I think it's a pitty that nation's unique units are not so relevant in late game, so what about adding a second unique unit to each nation? For example, Old Guard for the french, teutonic knights/panzer tanks for the germans, some unique aircraft for japanese, etc. Adding a russian or persian nation would be cool too.

Another idea is about town center defenders, I believe it would be nice if it could spawn nations unique units like ghe command post.

What do you think?

BHG team is developing endless new levels of buildings and troops for new Ages, they are not up to any gameplay improvements... So I think none of the proposed will ever be implemented or even considered by this team.
