It's bad enough healers go ape sh@#t and run into the forest, howies committing suicide, and shooters shooting a wall when there is an opening immediately adjacent, and tanks ramming anti-tank guns first before firing. Now add to the list shooters are acting like the tanks and ramming towers before firing.

Crappy AI and it's getting much worse.

It seems to me to be just as bad as it's always been, which is to say it's about 2 years overdue for a fix!
Without doubt the biggest pain in the neck is troops locking onto a building but walking past other buildings to get there, often being shot at on the way!

You guys are lucky, my most suicidal unit is the airplane. Whenever it's done killing the target early, it prefers to fly over every other tower until it itself is killed too.

Unfortunately it's bad by design. They're well aware of the AI's flaws as they designed it thst way. Still, sometimes you gotta vent. I've been known to make a few pithy observations myself from time to time.

I doubt there are any real programmers at BHG. They are not able to make even the simplest things properly. E.g. training scheduler - it schedules retraining of lost units unevenly for mutilple barracks/factory buildings. It is not hard to program such a thing to spread training of units almost perfectly, yet it is not working in this game. It is a shame.
