Two changes for the worst - both oil related.

1) 50% hit point increase for bomber type. It's now very easy for a mk3 zeppelin to wipe out a well protected level 4 refinery.
2) The tactical helicopter in the level 7 factory can carry raiders directly to the refinery and destroy, even if it's surrounded closely by walls ... with very little effort.


both these changes make very hard indeed to save up oil.

2) adjust your defenses to counter this with better placed SAMs and AAK AAK guns.

While I think he doesn't need to be so abrasive, I agree with Lord Anubis. In an arms race new technology will make your current defences less effective. You have to adjust.

I had someone try to steal my oil with a tactical helicopter, but luckily my air defenses and sniper towers took them out. So it is possible to defend against them.

I just put 2 towers, fort & 2 air defs in the helicopter way. It is working well so far.

Also 1 lvl 5 sam. Lol

a single SAM can defeat any bomber. I think you adapt.

all you need to do is send a plane to tigger the Sam ... then follow in with the bomber.

With the heli send in 3 of them .. and no defence will work in time to stop the dropping of raiders

If someone is willing to sacrifice a plane and a bomber, they are more than welcome to do it.

Doesnt matter, someone can drop a tac helo anywhere and then rally it, so it can come from any direction, not like planes that always come from one direction. So having effective air defense is almost impossible. I just watched a replay of the raiders landing on oil storage and once destroyed driving right through a wall to attack food storage.

I had someone use the helicopter/raider strategy on my base last night. I guess I don't fully understand how these copters work. My towers/air defense/SAM took out the helicopter about halfway to my oil but somehow the raiders still magically appeared and stole 3500 oil. At what point do you need to take down the helicopter to prevent this?
