Unable to search a clan

Our clan has merged with another clan. We all moved but 1. My 1 member cannot find in search the new clan. We've tried everything the game lets us.
Nexon, how can we solve this!??

What is the name of your new Alliance? Does it contain any special characters?

No special characters. The situation has escalated alot. The clan we all went has also a sister clan. Our member cannot find the main clan, the sister clan. I told him to try to quit us maybe than search will work. Now he can no longer find our own clan as well. I told him to search another clan friendly with us, no luck. We asked the sister clan to change names a couple of time... no luck for any.
My member is running game on ios. He is not an idiot (just making sure we all understand that). We've tried with and without filters, we changed the language for the game, language for keyboard, i wrote the names in a chat app he tried copy-paste... no luck what so ever. So he basically cant find any of the 4 (1 is our old one) clans. I have asked Customer Service to help, they think we are not spelling correctly (!!!). My member is so discouraged that since yesterday he doesnt reply me on our chat app....im afraid he might have quit the game.
