I have give units (infantry) to my alliance,
From what I understand, the university "upgrade" have effect ONLY on units you use for yourself (the units you give did not "keep" the upgrade).
This remove value for units you can give.
i guess only troop space reduction bonuses from donator applies to troops donated
dunno if the reciever's upgrades to his own troops applies to the troops he recieved or not too
Something like Brandenburg Gate upgraded troops or Versailles upgraded troops? The receiver only get the original version of the troops and the bonuses reapplied for whatever the they choose for their wonders. Blessed soldiers goes the same too, I think
I understand the wonders upgrade did not follow (the troop must be close to the wonders for the upgrade to apply).
But the one from the library must apply, it is like you did not send the same troop you have create.
The library and university upgrade is part of the troops (if Nexon want to keep the game the more realistic possible). It is a question of "logic".

Hahaha.....I had to laugh at your last sentence there. We as players have a different approach on the word 'logic' as Nexon does. Their perspective of 'logic' can be illogical at times.
Anyhooo....
You have a point there about the part where the university and library should follow the donated troops.
Gifted anything doesnt retain the bonus, its all relevent to the receiver, if he has upgrades then his setting will take effect, if he doesnt then zip.
