So what if he has +5 lvl better overall xp, how do you recongnise its Uni mortar research and not tower research?

MartinK12 - I would prefer to complain about issues, not complain about other people, while at the same time make helpful suggestions. I tend not to complain about people or their opinions because that's counter-productive and taking things to a personal level. But hey, that's just me - if others prefer to be the LCD on the forums that's their business.

It's too easy to put down someone or their opinion just because you disagree with it - it's much harder to give your own opinion and have it stand on its own merits. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Until Nexon changes the way the Uni affects - or is seen to affect - our bases, you can b!tch & moan all you want - or you can assume that any base with the Uni has researches cooking. Why else would someone go to the trouble of building the Uni?

I think it's fair to say that, in the case of the Uni, to not assume could very well make an àss out of you .....

I have a similar concern with the university. It appears that they don't take university upgrades into account when calculating war base power. Since the university was introduced I've had 6 workers constantly in there. During that time I've gone from third in my alliance to 6th. Seems to me the only reason I can think of is that the calculation isn't taking into account the upgrades. It doesn't bother me, my leader still knows I'm one of the top few attackers and assigns me some of the top bases, but the people we are facing probably don't realize that my base is one of the top two or three defensive bases. And conversely we can't be sure which bases of the other alliance are the hardest.

And along with this it may be a new way to load your alliance. One with tons of university studying done would overpower a similar alliance with very little done.

If you do the math, you should actually stop building and upgrade uni tech...much more bang for the buck.

I agree with you Max. Why are we complaining about people having Uni upgrades when we can have the same upgrades????

MartinK12 - you don't like the Uni upgrading people's mortars - then counter it with upgrades to your shooters or tanks or artillery. This is a strategy game - so strategise!!!!!

This is a strategy game. The Uni makes defenses tougher but it also makes attacking troops stronger - so what part of the Uni is so hard to work out ?????!

l suggest people stop complaining about the Uni making bases harder - and start strategising about ways to keep destroying them !!!! My Brit archers and howies are coming along nicely - if l had more workers I'd be cooking my defending tanks at the same time .....

I love my Uni research! Have added mortars to my mix now. They died too quickly before. Now they manage to stay alive and do a great job of defending my howies from defenders as I steamroll through bases I wonder how many of those bases also did the Uni upgrades? Well, if they didn't it's their loss We all have the same capability of deciding which upgrades to do with the limited number of hired help. That what makes this game so interesting. You never know what the other guy has done and he doesn't know what tricks I have up my sleeve

Don't forget, GailWho has a great secret recipe for cooking up some mean tanks. I mean, the armor just falls off the frame. Whatever oil she's using sure stains your hands but hey, it might go well with your makeup! (My advice, wear a bib!)

Ravenlord I know but in order to upgrade my shooters or tanks or artillery i need to wait few months/years Mortar is the first one to upgrade
Plus, please don't forget guys about cheaters and paying players - they will have all the uni upgrades months or even years before us
