V5.3 bug - troop transfer to inventory vaporized existing troops of same type

The new version transfers the troop "cards" from your battle scrollbar into your inventory. There is a problem with this consolidation. If you had the same type of troop in your scroll bar AND already in your inventory (before the update), the ones in inventory are lost. What should have happened is the counts should have been added together, preserving the cards from both sides.

For example, I had 2 Elite Hwarang Armies in Inventory and 1 Elite Hwarang Army in my scrollbar. I should have had 3 of these after the upgrade, but instead I have 1. The upgrade moved the 1 Army into inventory, and bashed the 2 that were existing. I also had 1 Shinobi in inventory and 3 in the scrollbar (from the event) - instead of seeing 4 in my new inventory, I only have 3.

I'm disappointed (but not surprised) that this fairly simple scenario was not coded properly and obviously wasn't tested. I had this happen on a second account as well, with 3 other card army types. All my unique troop types went into inventory without issues. Fortunately I have screen shots of everything. I do wonder how many other people have been impacted by this, and whether they actually realize it.

Same thing happened to me. I lost 4 elephant archer armies I just purchased on Monday.

I have this too. Elephant archers vaporurized but also trrops showing in 'combat' section of inventory. What is this and how do i get them to the stronghold ?

Zeltum - have you built the Stronghold yet? As soon as my building was completed, all troops automatically went into the Stronghold.

I updated and used the stronghold. I put one main tank (out of 11 cards) I elite hawari (should have 2 left) and one out of 3 elephants. Did a battle in war and the remainders all went. They cost me real money and I want them back. I have a load of screenshots of after but not before.

To date we have at least two members of our alliance who have lost a significant amount of armies from the scroll bar. I have lost 4 x Shinobi, Red Baron, flamethrowers, Jaguar, the battle chics and a few others that I can't remember of the top of my head.

A main tank and an elephant army has now shown up in the stronghold tactics but only one of each whereas I had 11 of one and 2 of the other. Something is a bit weird.

Still waiting for my troops that I paid for to be returned to me. (Yes, I have already opened a ticket). Any idea when these troops will be returned? (And please, something more timeline specific than 'soon'). I would have likely purchased the crown package with helicopters kicker, but not when I have no idea that what I purchase will actually be provided to me. Certainly will not purchase troops to replace the ones that have disappeared.

Yep...should have certain armies on scroll bar. They are gone. Do have multiples of same armies in inventory, but claim bar is grayed out so that I cannot claim/add them. That indicates that the inventory side is "reading" that the armies are on the scroll bar. Hope this issue gets resolved soon. Thanks.

My issue was resolved. The missing troop cards were eventually added back to my Stronghold, and I received some crowns for the trouble. Thanks Nexon.
