Vault issues after 6.2 update

I just lost 4,000 oil. After updating, my Vault capacity went from 12,000 down to 8,000. I don't remember what Level my Vault was at, it is now Level 3.

Customer support put the lost 4200 oil in my inventory, but the vault is still at level 2- it should be level 4.

That is because your vault is below level 3. There fix was to add oil capacity to the vault at level 3, and then apply the moctezuma bonus to that. So if your vault, like mine, is still level 1, 70% of nothing is still nothing. Quovatis

As far as I'm aware, the oil capacity is independent of upgrade level. Mine's at level 2, but where does it say it has to be level 3? Nothing in the Moctezuma research says it has to be lvl 3+, and I previously had 12k capacity, now only 8k. Still have this problem.

It doesn't say it anywhere in game, and this is a brand new change that is a patch to an unintended side effect of another change. I am not happy about it and suffering from the same ill effects you are. The announcement thread is here:

So the bug turned into a feature, and they act like this was intended all along. Everyone who had at least a lvl 3 vault was compensated for the 4200 oil lost, but what about players like me who also lost 4200 oil with level 1 and 2 vaults? I'd like my compensation as well! CS refuses to give it to me, saying that I am no longer able to deposit 12k, so by some strange logic, my missing 4200 is deserved. Fact is, I had 12000 deposited, then after update only had 8000 in the vault. I lost 4200 oil like everyone else! Doesn't matter that I can't put 12k back in after the rule change, I still lost 4200!

CS sent me a message saying they fixed it, but actually they didn’t.
Still 6,000 oil instead of 7,200.

They added a silent oil capacity to the vault at level 3, which Moctezuma boosts. There are no additional boosts for upgrades beyond that, as far as has been announced. I say silent, because I have an account with a level 2 vault, and choosing the upgrade button on it says nothing about oil capacity being added at level 3. There is NO WAY to tell what is going on in game; a player who hadn't visited the forums but had moctezuma done and a level 1 vault would have lost 4000 oil storage capacity with this update, and no idea why or how to fix it.

Yep, they handled this very poorly. Just like the 'extra house' package, there is absolutely no way to know, without asking on the forums, that the house you get is actually an 'early' house and not extra.

yeah, that house thingie is a pure robbing. Teammate got shafted also with it in past. Asked from support and then he got to know that it isnt extra house he spent money, its just house he got earlier....

sry to hear, I read from forums luckily it wont go up, so havent upgraded past lvl 3 and prolly never will
