War makes medals meaningless

When did I say there were enough legitimate alliances left. We don't care if they are legitimate or not we will still take them on with there maxed out bases and still beat them. Actually more fun destroying hacked out bases! Is there anything better then taking some goon down?

I do enjoy your passion umyo_, but until there are more tangible rewards, I feel that many alliances won't be bringing their A-game to wars. I go to war with full tactics and mercs (just in case), and we regularly kick alliance members who fail to use their attacks if they opt-in for wars, but I am sure that not every alliance/person share the same sentiments. Until Nexon adds something more meaningful, wars will likely remain a distraction. Great for those who enjoy it, but hardly reaching the potential it could be.

And LOL, I was using an example from another game, no plans to be on global chat but hope we get one eventually all the same.

C'mon people. So what if umyo is hoisting his own flag - or bragging as some have said - it's all harmless isn't it?! Whether those figures he's posted reflect compatible alliances or not is besides the point. If UA have been playing hard and honing their skills over time and they happen to come across an alliance replete with cheaters and hackers who don't know how to play properly - to the cheaters I say: tough sh!t !!!

Yes, we are the most amazing alliance of all time. Not for reasons such as topping the 'meaningless' leaderboard, or being 'the best war alliance in the world', but because we have an exceptional core group of players that are supportive, fun, laid back, extremely friendly, and humble.

We are also extremely inclusive of all level of allies, as our primary goal is to promote fun and be encouraging. You would not be a match for us.

You've also indicated you set up wars specifically with 'top tier' alliances, so your wars seem to be somewhat controlled by you. Bragging about beating alliances you feel are unskilled and meaningless, that you've selected, is nothing worth bragging over. This false bravado is nonsense, and your lack of respect is poor sportsmanship.

No I said when we hit the start a war button or whatever its called the only alliances that come up are the ones that are top teams on the medal leaderboard with majority of there team has maxed out bases. And we want to take them on because alot of them are hacker/cheaters and we are hunting them down. If Nexxon/BHG won't do it then we will. Have you noticed German Union all of a sudden fall off the leaderboard? That was us that made that happen! It's time to take matters in our own hands with these cheaters and war is the only way to get to them. And trust me we are getting to them!

And you are right I wouldn't be a good fit... I am super competitive and expect the same from my teammates. Laid back isn't in my vocabulary.

Thank you.... I don't even know why they were chiming in on a convo between Will and I? Must be some kind of little forum club I ran into and they are trying to stick up for there own. No big deal. Ravenlord is right though these hackers don't know how to play so people need to stop whining about them "cough cough" ( the forum crew) and start beating there a5s. They will go away!

I took this to imply you're setting up wars, along with subsequent comments specifically challenging my alliance which could only be done with coordinated effort to set up a particular war.

I'm also confused at why you suggest you disbanded a cheating alliance just because you beat them at war. These cheaters go about their business for significant periods- then losing a single war, of which there's no worldwide acknowledgement, brings them to their knees? Seems unlikely.

Listen, being competitive is great and all- there's no issue with pride over winning in a game where the fun is meant to be about dominating. I personally couldn't care less who you're challenging or beating. There's just a bit of being out of touch with the reality of the situation that's interesting. And being strangely combative for no reason (maybe there's background there, that's fine, don't care to hear it- it just doesn't bode well for your reputation).

Best of luck destroying empires at the top of the make-believe world war leaderboard. I'm off to kick my heels up, have a drink, and quietly bleed bases dry.

And we are just finding out these alliances are unskilled. Before war even came out I think everyone thought these were the elite alliances... am I right? We thought we were taking on skilled alliances that were on the top of the leaderboard. Don't tell me you didn't think these guys weren't good,right? Thats why we took them on we wanted to go up against the best... And maybe they were the best and we were that much better. If you know of stronger alliances point them out and I'll see what we can do to take them on. But please do not try to say some alliance (UK ghosts) have a chance against us with only three people higher then lvl100. Don't think the search system would even allow that because it wouldn't even be a fair fight. They have probably gotten in more wars then us which doesn't really prove anything its like medal hunters, they look for the easiest alliances to get the easiest victories. Guarantee they haven't faced one alliance in the top 200 of the medal leaderboard and wouldn't win if they did. Don't be naive

I never said just beating them was the reason they disbanded.... They were caught cheating on us at the beginning of the war and it got brought up in the chat room on line which they were apart of and some got the boot and some left. which was some of there high medal guys. So yes we disbanded them because we caught them redhanded.

I think war is completely superior to the medal system. I do enjoy the loot bonsues and obviously climb medals when wars are not underway, but there is so much more satisfaction and skill involved in winning wars than climbing medals

I didn't say UK Ghosts could beat you- didn't mention them by name at all in fact.

A leaderboard for war will be much the same as a leaderboard for medals, thus numbers count. The fact remains that in December an official tally did not support your suggestion that you are the #1 war alliance, not even top 5 for that matter. And by your own admission you claim you are beating easy unskilled alliances to get your wins- it makes no difference whether or not I believe they have, or lack, skill- you say they don't. So, you are also padding your numbers by beating what you assert to be unskilled alliances. Those are your facts.

I'm not searching for alliances for you to fight, man. I don't care whether you're 'the best' or not- only you do. But you can't have it both ways- can't be simultaneously beating the 'best' players while in the same breath claiming they are the worst.

If you don't see merit in how other people play- regardless of what strategy they choose (aside from cheating)- then you've got a narrow, incomplete, understanding of the game. That's your problem.
