So sorry Xabar, it appears a forum hiccup kept it from being posted at the correct time yesterday. This weekend is the World at War Advancement and the Siege of Cadia. The discounts we're offering are on things like Forest Expansions, Archive, Coalition Upgrades, and Revolution! Check out all the details in the News and Announcements section.

It’s not necessary to announce it here. You will see it when it is active ingame. There are lots of more important things. Just look to my new signature

Don Mario - maybe you don't care about the early announcement of the weekly discount, but there are a lot of us that do so that we can plan accordingly. Tin Soldier almost always announced it one day early over in News and Announcements and Xabar is only asking for that tradition to continue.

Facebook is more accurate with announcements and reaches more people. Maybe you need to go there. This forum is nearly dead regarding active players.

Neither Facebook or Twitter is posting the weekly discount - the forum is the only place that the announcement is made any more.

If you do not get rid of the cheaters and the bugs, you do not need any announcement anymore, because the better cheater wins and doesn’t need any announcement because he is always getting it for free. And the team here is only one person for everything. So.... if they do not hire more persons or a new community manager, we need to have priorities.

I think the Community Manager can afford the 3 minutes it takes to post the weekly discounts, just like he/she has been doing for the last several years. I am not saying that dealing with cheating or bugs isn't very important, but the game managers can do multiple things, including informing the members of this forum about upcoming events.
