What is the point of Dominations?

Without war for a good 60 hours...I have moved passed the frustration of dealing with customer service. I've merely stopped talking to them because I can't be thanked for my patience anymore...
So moving on to playing...what am I playing for now? My base is attacked by droppers and looters...whoopie! I'm playing to upgrade items that make it harder for them to loot...but they kinda suck at it already, so why bother? I never get peace treaties...failing to see the point of this very peaceful game...

Yes. To us, this game became a very expensive version of FarmVille in the last few days.

Once you start pushing lvl 190ish give or take, peace treaties are almost a thing of thr past now. It's droppers, raiders or epic fails with a rally on the refinary before they die

I'm happy to have that...as long as I have wars to play for...without the world war aspect of the game, Domi really is just FarmVille...

Can't wait to have that problem... Lol! Only 30 levels away! World War is what this game is all about. I would be a happy man if my base never got attacked again!

Nexon, please bring in more capable developers to help you fix this problem. As Kat points out, what is the point of playing this game if matches for War are not happening?

I must sadly agree. I love the challenge of war, but without it... what is left? Climbing the ranks for medals isn't worth it. I like to work with my team on tough war.

TinSoldier - I don't know if you work today, but if so, could you at least give us an update about whether or not the company is working this weekend to try to solve the outage?

What's odd is that matches are happening. Sparta aren't very far away in base levels from Jag and Kat's teams but we matched in a minute in a 35x... against a team a fair bit lower in level than us (and before anyone wonders, they have a similar number of filler/sandbag accounts in the war).

We were expecting to wait a LONG time for a match as well.

So it seems something really is broken with some alliances, and their inability to match in war.

Nothing is broken, everything is working just fine.....
according to our excellent CS department and their SUPERB Game Masters, even when they are always prompt to send the Cavalry, the issues are on our side, as usual...
It's either because
1. There are few alliances in the same pool with the same number of participants, or
2. You have to start searching at different times...

C'mon Nexon! We are not new teams playing wars for the first time! Please leave these kind of answers for noobs.
We want some real answers/Solutions on "your side", since there are hundreds of teams (ours included) who have been searching not for hours, for days now!
We already did everything that is in our hands, trying every possible number and lineup, cancelling and starting all over again.....you name it

Our "small group" have all been searching for days...we would have matched...so I don't buy the limited pool of alliances rubbish

Very sad.... have come to expect any fix of a bug will only bring on a new bug. It's like a revolving door of bugs. Nexon, aren't you embarrassed by this? It's not rocket science. Just hire more competent experienced software professionals, some Quality control staff and while you're at it hire some customer service reps who don't use form letter responses. Those responses are hilarious and best of all they keep using the same ones over and over. We're not stupid. At least stop insulting us with your continued flow of money making gimmicks like troop cards. Instead of concentrating your efforts there,we prefer to see the bugs fixed once and for all.

We love Dominations but these ongoing bugs are becoming tiring and demotivating.

Time has come and gone for at is no fun. Wait what war! Thought they fixed war! I'd say that it's just us sandbagging people but we tried with and without so don't really matter. Can't wait for 5.7 it will be bug free fix sandbagging bring us new content. And give us unlimited crowns
