I'm all for respecting the sensitivity of others, but if we wanna talk about withholding a weapon because of the body count that it created, I guarantee that standard bombing raids killed an exponentially higher number of civilians than the atomic bombs did. Gatling guns mass slaughtered humans in WWI. Flamethrowers were used to burn civilians alive in Vietnam. I think the arguments is invalid.

The Tailor or Dressmaker building will also increase worker productivity because the workers can now work in style!

Maybe a fusion factor could be added. Something that would allow you to fuse two tactics together creating a different effect. Only 1 could be trained at a time and it would have its own space...

I think the atom bomb should be expressed in the game as an automatic 5-Star victory on one target of a Leaders choice in world war. Only one per side each war.

This is a pretty entertaining discussion. Adding a power plant is ok. But with the silo, the last thing we need is a nuke that destroys half a city.

the misile silo shouldve come at atomic age.

between industrial and global, the SAM is big enough of a difference. with my global alt i only ever farm industrial bases out of fear of SAM lol

Manifesto I agree with your original post, would be nice to see something atomic!!

I get that cultural sensitivity plays a big part in game game development but the atomic age wasn’t just about atomic bombs.

How about glowing green Uranium isotopes occasionally spawn around your base like oil seeps - it takes 4 workers to harvest them but as soon as you do it doubles your oil, food and gold resource output for a day?

agree atomic does not have to be destructive .a nuclear power plant is good .what i wuld like to see is freindly fire damage .and damage related ability to be introduced in game play .eg if a mortar tower is 50 % damaged then it shuld only cause 50% damage .likewise with attacking troops.

I have to disagree. If a troop is injured but the weapon stil works, then they can still do the same amount of damage with a shot.
Likewise if it's a building that's damaged, the people inside can still fire the weapon.

pretty soon people will ask this question about the cold war. the cold war was political and involved a nuclear arms race instead of standard military warfare. yet we will still be attacking other civilizations.

Yes, but in Civ you have 10-15 cities and in domi only one, so it would be really OP to have nuclear weapon and destroy half village with single stike.
It would be fun, but very difficult to balance.
