Why are the prices for crowns so different here?

Yet again taking a query to the guys that know... you players! CS just cannot answer this, yet again. Admin, could you please shed some light on this??

I booted up a new apple ipad on the same account, did the linking a new device thing.. same location (I don't move countries to play dominations lol) yet the price difference for crowns sort of blew me away. Why does this happen guys? Is it just greedy Apple again?
I've re-checked and re-checked again, my location is where is should be,, just like my humble android device. Check out the screenshots. I'm so confused here...

Are those US dollars? Because that's not the price I have... I'm not complaining because mine is way less. I'm on iPad and iPhone. Maybe it has something to do with local taxes. Perhaps Googleplay covers the tax to encourage more users... Just a stab in the dark.

Hi Gail for helping out, yeah I dont know. I only know the more expensive one is via Apple and itunes. Ive reloaded, reset etc the ipad, even made a new apple ID yet its still like that, so Ive sold it haha. Put it online and in one afteroon I had an extra $600
Im off to get a nice shiny trusty Android.. Oh and on top of that, itunes have pinging me $1 just for fact I was going to hit buy but didnt actually press "confrim" - out_bloody_rageous!

Are prices correlated with game Age? The prices are different when sales are offered between my Medieval and Gunpowder, perhaps the same is true for crown prices?

No its def not age related, I asked CS that and surprise it was something they could answer. The pricing for crowns on my andriod compared to your andriod seems correct. Youre in the US while Im in NZ / AUS (Pacific region) so that would be the dollar exchange rate.

[B]EDIT: Actually just looked up the USD compared to the NZD and for USD$99.99 makes it NZD$140.17! So andrioad at least here, its a lot cheaper to buy crowns, omg I didnt know that. On the other side, yet again Apple is the most expensive, typical >_<[/B]

idk if pricing changes according to ur store, but i can simply change my store to any country that i want

Apple recently had a discount 15% off their itune card in some retailers in OZ. I stocked up to use on my Netflix account.

Maybe they are showing different currency. Or maybe it's like what yellowmar said, apple is having a discount.

1 way to be sure is to select on both all the way till they ask you to key in your card no. Usually that's when they show you your true currency amount.

Hi guys and thanks everyone for your inputs, love them. Ok I've now loaded my new android tablet and from my last post my crown price has in fact gone up, not nearly as much as the Apple screenshots I posted here though.
My post before this stated my countries dollar value to the US dollar was very low .. now, after loading my new device with google play account logged in its exactly what the currency exchange is.. damn lol, I was getting it cheaper before for some reason, Ill leave that to Nexon to sort lol .
Oh well, at least its still way cheaper than Apple via itunes to buy.
