the new leader buffs the decoy tactic.
but decoy is already by far the most effective tactic.
didnt you nerf sabotage betrayal and protect because they were too good?
but decoy gets a buff?

Decoy, after the other tactics nerfs, is the go-to choice for attacks. 3 or 4 decoys exposes traps then a player draws away troops and makes a suicide run for oil. At least on my base they do.
This must be Nexons' way of apologising for boosting defense so much prior to this. Had to give something back to the attackers.
Just be thankful it's the first research option, they could've put it in the middle or near the end.

It was about time offensive capabilities got a buff, so, I'm not complaining about the buff to the decoy tactic.

offensive buff is good, but tactics buff affects ww more than farming. when it should be farming made much easier than ww. just wait and watch them buff defense further because ww has been made easier now.

and also i dont like the imbalance with decoy shadowing all other tactics

True, I would have liked offensive capabilities buffed for farming, but, at the moment, I'll take anything they give on the offense side. Supply convoy hit points might help on the farming front.
True that the decoy is overshadowing other tactics at the moment. So, it might not be a bad idea for them to revert the sabotage, protect, and betrayal back to one tactic capacity. It might lead to more variety in game play.

I think the right answer is:
in order to they would to made the defense more OP by adding new dangerous building that called Rocket Arsenal and also due to forcing the players by spending more workers and time at university (then they have to buy new houses/Crowns) ,
then they had to put some stuffs in it in order to complete 75 researches! and there is not much stuffs left for it ! already most of stuffs are in the other researches at university!

So their main intention was not that to increase offense power !

I believe manifesto is right, decoy buff is counter to all defense buff lately, including rocket arsenal.

Why would anyone complain about an offensive buff? Try facing a max defense CWA base with max 3D coals. It's not an easy task...

Yes, it's a stupidly overpowered tactic. Considering that sabo, protect, betrayal were nerfed to promote tactics diversity I don't see why this tactic gets a free pass. It has more range than sabo, lasts over twice as long, and occupies troops and springs traps, in addition to occupying defenses. Spam seven maxed out ones and watch the game play itself.

If they were really interested in diversity of tactics they would just limit the amount of sabo, protect, decoy, betrayal you can carry to two each but have them only take one space.

Agree, it does seem a little hypocritical for them to say ''we promote diversity'', then nerf some and overpower others.

Manifesto you can count on it. its exactly how these games work. balance...buff....nerf...all to get money.

I can guarantee decoys will take 2 space next update. Mark my words.

The other tactics have university buffs like sabotage, protect, and demolition it was time for decoys to be in the university. I’ve seen plenty of failed attacks on high level bases with people using 7 maxed decoys. The decoys don’t automatically get you a 5 star victory the same way 7 sabotages would have and basically did before the doubles space. The decoy buff gives you a chance actually to get through Saladin and all the extremely unbalanced defensive turns the game has taken. It’s a step in the right direction. I’ve only attacked one base in a war with rocket arsenal so far but it shreds through decoys pretty quick if you let the bazookas out. You must not be fighting maxed or close to maxed bases ever if you think 7 decoys just gives you the edge to easy victories.

They are only concerned with what benefits them the most not diversity that’s for the PR department to just release as a sound bite.

cclaerbo You are right except for the fact that MOST players are not fighting maxed out AAs or CWA bases. For those AA/CWA players hitting those GA and below defs, the decoy is now hugely OP. That would make for 90%+ of the player base I would say.
