World War loot completely NOT worth the effort? Please increase the loots

Let me put the numbers straight. Me myself as atomic, am getting around 450k golds,450k foods, and 3500 oils by spendings:

170 spaces of troops, witch is around 200k foods
4 air units, which is 2400 oils
6 mercenaries, which is around 50 trade goods
3 generals, which means 1500 oils
6 tactics, which is another 150k foods
3 coalitions, which is 24 national trade goods
27 spaces of alliance troops,which is another 50k foods from your alliance members
1-2 carded armies from the events

HOW is it even worth it to go to war nowadays..? War is fun but please increase the loots beccause even if we win the war the loots seem very pathetic, not mention when you lose, you lose big resources and set you back on the game progress. YES you 5 stars the goddamn FC atomic base doesn't mean you win the war! Your whole team needs to win! Sometimes we are facing inevitable powerful enemies that we lost by one or two stars. We get punished so heavily by only getting 1/4 or 1/5 of the loots?I'm seriously thinking people without doing much wars are developing their bases much faster.

I actually agree with this one. I would like to see an additional reward for winning the war beside just collect 100% of the war loot. I have yet to understand what exactly the glory system does other than bragging rights....

i was asking the same question a month after glory was released. With medals, at least you have bigger leagues awards. As for the glory? New members for some alliances. Nothing more.

Yeps. Put this way it makes sense. I have to use full mercs, full tactics, ally troops, generals for 350k gold/food/some oil. Really, I would be better off farming much longer by using say 2 or 3 mercs in one farm run (2 runs), using tactics (2x2) in 2 farm runs, generals in one or two more runs and ally troops in a last one.

By just splitting all those wasted resources to hit ONE war base, I should be able to farm a minimum of 5 bases with minimal losses and that too farming continuously.....

Yeah, it's pretty stupid how war loot works. It goes up quite fast in the lower ages, then for GPA/EA bases it pretty much flattens out, and from that moment on you barely gain any more war loot for attacking a higher base. The 300-400k food and gold stops being relevant after the Gunpowder Age.

And make the Command post oil storage scale better. Until you have at least enlightment age command post, you get ridiculously low amount of oil storage compared to other resources so about 6000 oil goes to waste even if you win the war while other resources still have room for like 500k more.

There should also be a glory bonus for winning a world war with a perfect score. Maybe an extra 10% or something like that.

anyone else feel that WW is pointless?

I'm not talking about sandbagging, but more about the rewards.
I think whether you lose or win, prizes from WW is generally not worth the effort you put into it.
Unless you are attacking pushover bases that are owned by inactive players, you generally use all tactics with full mercs, reinforcements and generals and maybe coalitions.
With the same amount of units and tactics, I normally end up with much more resources raiding other player's bases since I hardly end up using more than 2 tactics in most bases I would raid.
So it really feels pointless participating in WWs since you would end up getting more resources from normal raids.
I think WW is a great system for a game like dominations, but I'm surprised that they haven't improved it even though its been around for quite a long time by now.

It depends on your objectives, if you want to progress in the game in terms of level then, yes, war loot is definitely not worth the effort, and you achieve much more in multi.
Now, if you want to have fun, to play together with your teammates, to have some challenges, to elaborate strategies and so on, then war is the only means to get this, as multi is quite boring and repetitive. The only interest in war is that it is a collective activity that you can share with other members of your alliance. This is where you can get the best satisfaction.
And war is the only moment where you can feel emotions. If you 5 stars or not in multi does not really matter, in war it makes all the difference.

Yeah, the rewards are definitely not worth it, but it's fun. WW is pretty much the reason I still play, I would definitely have quit by now if it didn't exist. That said, it would be nice if the rewards scaled better with age... 300k or 400k gold/food is great when you're in the Gunpowder Age, but meaningless when you're at Industrial or higher.

Their big huge loot event is 2 million food for lvl 5 reward. So they are thinking that you are well rewarded for your war efforts too.

They should increase the rewards and give better loot for stalemates/perfect scores.

Be careful what you ask for, they might reduce raiding loot! lol... Seriously, I agree the the net war payoff is minimum at least where I'm at in the game- advanced IA. But I think the major reason the thrill is gone is all the pay-for event troops. This game is a strategy game which came from the great Computer based RON game. However, it is morphing into an arcade game where strategy is less important than buying extra troops. Just look at all the 5's. Our alliance now needs a perfect score most games to win. A strategy game will hold you interest for years. An arcade game is fun in the beginning, but you quickly lose interest.

Join Boots2faces- we are a winning alliance that is always at war.

We also need features for alliances lower than 10 members that also reward large loot

The problem is at lower levels war loot was great. When I was EA I made bank on wars. But as you get to higher ages the loot doesn't keep up with the costs. Simple fix would be to increase the loot for global and atomic age wars. It's pretty dumb that get such low loot at those levels

yeah, loot is fine at low levels. But the difference in loot between IA, GA, and AA is very small, despite huge increases in army costs to fight at each level. 4.5k oil doesn't come close to covering the cost of 2 attacks, and even the best case of ~800k gold/food can be won in 2 normal MP attacks.

WW loot is a joke, but at least it coincides with the whole WW Glory system completely. I am AA and when I spend more MAKING TROOPS/TACTICS then actually what I would get if we win is well...a pretty half a$$ design.

Give clans more of a reason to war, because the incentives (just like any other thing in this game now) is not worth it, especially with the BUGS still in the game. Every war a clan mates tells/shows me (most with SS) how they 5* their target, but lost their att. because of your inability to figure out how to run a game cohesively. I mean really? U guys can't figure out ways to make this game more enjoyable for the ppl paying your wages?

Reset the Glory disaster AFTER u fix all the problems associated with it, add reasons to war (like with medal league bonuses). And pls for the love of it all get a clue that ppl actually do play this game outside of KOREA, u biased dopes! Swallow your pride sunshine, don't b stingy, listen to the ppl who actually know what works and what doesn't (the players).

Just stop wasting everyone's time by doing what u think is good...because it isn't.
