Ok I banged out 50 artifacts on my alt (AA) this AM to see about some of the questions people have raised. I have tracked stuff by category, what I have earned, what place it came out on the artifact, and where the percentages were distributed.
50 artifacts crafted (250 lines):
1% = 60% (149 time)
6% = 36% (89 times)
11% = 5% (12 times)
(101% total is just the rounding)
For 1%:
Occured row 1: 33 times, 22% of the time
Occured row 2: 28 times, 19% of the time
Occured row 3: 25 times, 17% of the time
Occured row 4: 33 times, 22% of the time
Occured row 5: 30 times, 20% of the time
For 6%:
Occured row 1: 15 times, 17% of the time
Occured row 2: 17 times, 19% of the time
Occured row 3: 22 times, 25% of the time
Occured row 4: 16 times, 18% of the time
Occured row 5: 19 times, 21% of the time
I won’t quote the 11% as there are only 12 results, but you can work it out if you really want. But those numbers look pretty close to an even spread across all rows to me - if it is even I would expect 20% in each one if I did this enough times.
Of the 50 I crafted, 16 of them were Jewelry. As there are only 7 possible things you can get on Jewelry, and a bunch of us care about “All Resources Looted” and “Oil Looted” I also looked at those:
16 jewelry artifacts = 80 rows. I would expect to get both of these around 11 times for it still to be evenly distributed (80/7=11.4). I actually got 10 oil looted and 9 all rss looted. So that is close enough given so few things crafted (I only had 16 goes here).
For my 9 “All RSS Looted” I got 5x1%, 3x6% and 1x11%. 3 of them appeared on row 1, 1 on row 2, zero on rows 3&4, 5 on row 5.
For my 10 “Oil Looted” I got 5x1% and 5x6%. 1 on row 1, 4 on row 2, 2 on row 3, 1 on row 4, 2 on row 5.
While it is all very early I don’t see anything pointing to anything other than an even distribution on the bulk likelihoods we get.
I have another 50 or so artifacts to craft on my alt, and I am well over 30,000 fragments on my main now (waiting for a blueprint event from crafting, hint hint BHG). I’ll update this once I have something worth updating, but nothing seems hugely different from my initial analysis on release at this point.
