6-8 troop tactics used in world war attacks

there seems to be a serious bug being exploited to use 6-8 troop tactics in attacks.

maxiumum troop cards that can be used is 4

in all attacks versus our alliance players that had FULL defense coalitions set... players attacked with 6-8 troop tactics. in all other bases this did not happen.

seems UNLIKELY to be a coincidence or some kind of visual bug that this occurred only in those three attacks versus our 4 hardest bases.

NoVelcro This does look a bit fishy,but just saying that the war replays have gotten a bit incaccurate since in last update, especially for my alliance,
Things I've seen:
wrong stars awarded in the final screen than actually on the war map
Rally button being used with no troops on the field
Wrong Number of planes, opponent confirmed this wasn't the case. Don't know why this happened.

Never seen this many tactics though.

mkm1g15 Mistakes are made during battle, here's some explanations to your examples:

- Battle went differently in reality than in replay, in reality attack succeeded and in replay it failed because something in the attack wasn't recorded well (tactic, rally or plane deployment a bit early or a bit late, troops moved differently and caused a chain effect that changed the entire battle)

- simillarly with planes, if a plane is destroyed in the replay but in reality that plane was alive and still deployed afterwards, the game will just create another plane to send in.

The game should not be making mistakes in something as easy as troop deployments and troop cards because that is easy to record and doesn't depend on timing (you put a troop card - it's there).

NoVelcro Definitely report to CS it's very likely cheaters. If not then the replay system is really busted.

but in all seriousness, I've seen other players report this with no response from Nexon. They must not like traitors too much

I had an IA player use 12 normal tactics against me the other day in a war. 4 barrages that were noted on the troops lost screen, and 8 decoys thst weren't.

Troops and defenses reacted to the decoy, so none of this replay error nonsense.

Unfortunately the cycle seems to be that people take a day or two to hack a new update knowing the next one won't roll out for 2-3 months. Also knowing that Nexon has an inadequate system for checking hacks and no way to flag suspicious bases/battles directly without having to tap dance with their outsourced and laughable customer service.

You might have mixed a decoy up with a master assassin troop from the recent event, these guys drop decoy copies of themselves as they attack, and it works basically the same as a decoy, only without a tank in the middle.

It could have something to do with some of the extra strongholds people have discovered in people's bases lately. It would be hard to prove since you would need to know when they are going to make their attacks so you can check their mp base to see if they did add an extra stronghold via cheating. But guaranteed that extra stronghold will disappear once the attack is completed to avoid detection. I'm not saying that is what it is but its just a thought...
