Why don't you try using regular army attacks in MP instead of raider attacks? I have done that since IA and am always full of NTGs, resources, and oil. It's not hard.

I'm a level 200+ global and whilst I can spend all types of resources and put use all workers, I'm in no rush to upgrade to atomic so I can tackle silo free industrials. My decent level generals help in war to take down mid level atomic and most globals.

Though I dont have big trouble in handling Silo, but I still find that it limited my choice of tactic.
Now I force to put a heavy tank in my combo to attract missile, and I need to keep my main army far away from HT.And I can rally until Silo destroyed

Silo also give my healer a lot of trouble, my supply truck always leave main army alone and run to HT

nah i know what am saying and i deal with it in wars the way u say it just made the game less strategic no idea what's the point of generals and tanks if am going to use them to draw one building's fire they should be squishies protection all the game through, u can't risk putting one general beside ur main army to tank for them cuz that may elevate their total hp and draw silo fire toward them
if u dont think so try to take down a maxed CWA base with regualr army mercs and generals full tactics u will never be able to 5* it without troop cards

I'm very happy when defending, very unhappy when attacking! 😜
In general I avoid attacking bases that have it well defended. I prefer searching for easy Global Age targets that don't have it yet

I don’t play this game almost at all anymore. The Eagle Cannon Mark Two or ‘Missile Silo’ - Whatever... sucked all the fun I used to have deploying my troops in inventive ways..

Ironically this is the EXACT SAME REASON I LEFT CLASH after playing it for two years. And the reason I started Dominations.

I loved this game because it was different! It was a leader where others were just followers. But now it’s just like the rest.

Bleh

So now I spend my money on another game. About $500 - 1000 a month I believe.... All because Nexon got greedy...

If they made it require oil to refill after each attack in MP, it would be balanced. As is, it really breaks the economy. It forces everyone to lower medals.

This is the best idea for this broken game mechanic I have seen in a while. Quite simple and eloquent.

So basically you gave up because things got a little bit tougher and you couldn't be bothered trying?
Hope you left your farms and caravans outside. :D

So basically all you got from my post was that I am lazy? Do you know anyone who plays CoC anymore? I know I don’t. From the top grossing app game in the world to lower than 50th. In under one year.

People like you you give app developers are false sense accomplishment because you might only be the elite few. But you speak as though you are the majority.

News flash: The majority never speak up. They just leave. And so a game that was making money, just quietly drops always into oblivion.

You go troll. Be the best of a game with no players!

Someone bust out the cheese because this thread is full of whine. Most people want things easy, can’t handle when they introduce balance and make defense more difficult. The MP argument is such BS, people expect raiding to be super easy and don’t want it to be hard. I have no problem raiding silo bases, build the right army, pick on people under you and it shouldn’t be a problem. For all you that don’t like the silo and want to keep whining about it, go play Hay Day or something, this is a strategy game not a action game.

And people like you are the reason games die. I hope you're having more fun with an easier game.
Still, hope you left your farms and caravans outside.

I dont like how the Silo defends my base. The silo should be focused (firstly) in defend against powerful attackers (like howitzer and a lot of infantry troops), not troops with a lot of life points (like tanks, generals, etc). I've stolen bases using infantry and a few tanks without receiving a single hit from the silo. Sometimes Its worthless. The silo should be rearmed like the bunkers (if you're not so active your base will pay).

The silo is targeting any attackers located the farthest to its range. Whether they are tanks, or infantry, anything. So it depends on how you manage attacks, or your enemy's strategy 😄
In fact, if it's only targeting offensive troops, it will be less fun rather 😐

(I'm editing my comment cause you just did it first 😆)

If you don't like how your silo works, that means you need to figure out a better base, Sir! 😉

I dont like it on defense because if someone deploy some troops with a lot of life points (tanks, generals, tanks destroyer, etc) to make a distraction and other troops (like howitzers or infantry) to make great damage, the silo will attack the distractors.

I moved to Global only a few weeks ago and I’ve only upgraded a few of my troops (tanks and riflemen) only. I don’t use HT and my fighter planes are of Industrial Age level. Missile Silos have taken all the fun away from MP. I can’t train Mercenary armies for every MP attack. Where do I get so much NTG? I don’t spend money just to win MP’s!

During defence of my base, I have only seen it effetive in only 2-3 times. Either it gets demolished by planes or demolition tactics or it doesn’t become effective against HT armies or it doesn’t fire at all (due to attackers not deploying full force) and my TC is taken out.

You need to focus on 1 activity. For NTGs, you just have to find easier bases without silo. If you have barely reached Global Age, it's not necessary to hit bases with silo actually, since you need resources more than practices, especially that some of your troops are still in Industrial class.
You'll get more chances to practice with better armies 😄 (planes, specially).
For defense, maybe you will need better layout approach.

Silos are fun! 😂 both in attack and defense

The entire MP balance of the game is bad right now. The silo is a big piece of that, as it makes all other defenses more effective by limiting attack strategies. It is simply not worth attacking anyone over 220 in MP except for raiding or TC snipes. And that is true even for a maxed out cold war player, it isn't just atomics and globals for whom it doesn't make sense.

I don't especially "hate" the silo any more - it is a symptom of a much bigger design issue where the developers have allowed war to diverge radically from MP in terms of offensive power, and then "balanced" defenses to be effective even against those much better offensive capabilities. Put it all together, and MP suffers every day, and war is more and more pay to win.

I don't mind the missile silo anymore but I'm also CWA with maxed out troops and fully upgraded the important troops in my university. I usually put three tanks somewhere that has the least amount of anti tank guns then put the rest of my army out in the closest area to the missile silo that i can put them (without them being blown to bits by mortars). I use transport to put troops near my tanks every 28 seconds and airplanes to kill any heavy tanks or tanks going near my tanks and let the rest of my army tear though the base. It works on pretty much any base under 245 ish even when they have strong walls.
