One of the major frustrations among more competitive players, I believe, is that the battle system becomes redundant and boring. Snipe, rebuild, snipe, rebuild.

Some might argue that this is their own fault, and perhaps that is largely true. However, among many of us who have a fairly large number of medals for our level, we only match with people who are much higher level. In cases where a level 100 player matches with a level 163 on offense, it is unlikely that the result will be a 5 star victory (without using tactics, blessings and mercs, that is).

So my suggestion is that the match should be dramatically broadened. Let us match anyone within an age. Why not? This would ensure more opponents and a greater variety of battles.

(I'd also suggest that attacking well below one's level should not produce more than 1 medal, and possibly 0, but that has been discussed elsewhere.)

Lol, that will ruin the game for players who just started playing this game or players who still play this game like Sim City or Facebook Cityville :p

Hi John,

Thanks for responding. People can already attack an age up or down. And high level players already obliterate bases that are far below their level (assuming they are high level, low medal bottom feeders). This change would fix the no opps problem, and add some fun battles for high medal attackers who are tired of only attacking maxed bases.

As to it ruining the game for noobs, they wouldn't be affected. High medal players are almost exclusively ia, and noobs aren't ea. And most players would/should prefer to be attacked by a competitive player, because they will generally lose fewer medals and less loot.

I like the suggestion. An GA should be able to attack any medieval and EA no matter the number of medals. Same w IA. IA members should be able to attack any EA and IA
