Alliance gifts are a joke

A bunch of us in the alliance got a Gargantuan Gold Shipment in our alliance gift box. We had 1 member spend 100 and we all got a Big Huge Gift, a single pirate army card is what i got..not what id call a big huge gift.

Yeah, the gifts have definitely been nerfed. "Gargantuan" shipments are the biggest joke for sure. I did get 500 rubies from a big gift though.

If i spent $100 id expect more from a BHB than 500 rubies or a troop card. im not even sure if it was atomic age or not, i have some level 5s and 7s in my collection.

its the fact they are using these gifts as a means to convince people into spending money. Seriously 2 people spent 20 each and i get a total of 50k gold from their gifts...

More likely, the alliance gifts just reveal the people in your alliance who were already big spenders. Nothing wrong with it, to each his own...

I got "Rubies" from a large gift, but there was no number shown. As best I can recall my previous balance, I think it added 11...

In my experience, it only gives you 1 ruby, then, about 10 minutes later, will give you 99 more. Medium or large gifts give 100 rubies. The big huge one can give 500.

Interesting. I only checked my balance immediately after opening it, and noted the oddity that the balance wasn't a multiple of 5, when it had been. Very likely it only went up 1 as you say. Now it is again. And it looks like I got 250. Up 249 from that first check, in any case. Haven't done anything else that would change the balance (collecting command post - it still has 150 in there) in the meantime.
