Matched this team...

Hopefully the publicity here will get them removed and banned quickly.

To be fair, Default is a cheater name (it's what happens when Nexon catches a cheater and reverts them). I don't think there's any proof of them cheating here, though. The name is Гордый Варяг (type "Gordyj Varyag" into google translate for cyrillic to appear below), if anyone wants to look them up to see for themselves.

Although it's suspicious that the guy is level 293, it could just be a very, very active player.

Persia , I don't care how active someone is, there's one of two ways to get that many buildings upgraded to CW age in the month since the update.
Legitimately, I would expect roughly 4-5 buildings per fortnight (without crown rushing) which would mean about 15 or so buildings since Dec (maybe). Naturally a player can do more with crown rushes but that's a lot of raiding and crowns. Then there's the issue of all walls being upgraded. At 8,100,000 per wall, that's a lot of raiding and/or a heck of a lot of crowning. Then there's also the cost of the troops being upgraded.

Just as a start, 8100000 per wall x 155 = 1,255,500,000. Lets average 700k food/gold per raid, that's 1793 raids. (My average is more like 300k)
1793 raids at, say, 5 mins per raid = 149hrs
149hrs per 4 hrs a night = 37 nights (diehards might spend more time on weekends)
That's a whole bunch of raiding just for walls. :D

Anybody out there want to do the math on the resources raided and/or the crowns spent for a total base upgrade? :D

It's pretty weird taking a second look at it. That level 293 is gone from their alliance, and when you look at the members of the alliance specifically (if you look it up, then actually click Visit on their names), it shows them as being "Shtrafniya Rota", in cyrillic of course, instead of in Гордый Варяг. Weird, especially with the fact that the Default base is maxed or close to it.

many cheater alliances now make 2-3 max CWA bases to join a war and get banned, but they win the war regardless
then make another cheater base to join the next war and so on
they don't care if these bases get banned, they win a war with each base, this alliance maybe using more than one base but same idea
i posted here about that on forums, my alliance was the first to encounter that type of cheating, now it's gonna be a trend for many alliances that want to climb the leaderboard with no effort

nexon maybe not banning max bases cheaters but resetting their progress??
nexon doesn't ban 5* cheat users (confirmed by following up a cheater that i reported myself 2 weeks ago and got 300 crowns as a compensation, he is still active, last seen 4hrs ago in his alliance menu)

so basically nexon doesn't only care about fixing their security holes but also DOESN'T ban critical cheaters that heavly impact gameplay which is against their terms of service

Watch some Twitch stream clips on Youtube of people getting banned and Nexon needs to follow suit. Other game developers dont bother with petty slaps on the wrist. When they detect cheating the ban is instant.

And we can see a lot of new name on the leader board, quite some of them are not that clean

Maybe these players spend a few hundred dollars and that puts Nexon into a quandry. They can't ban them because they've spent money and these days there's all sorts of ridiculous laws to protect people whether they deserve it or not. So all they can do is reset the base to a beginners level. And the hacker moves on.
With all the technical and security improvements made to games these days it amazes me how people can continue to hack games so easily. But then you will always have that narcissistic element who doesn't care about anything except themselves.
Seems like Nexon is continually trying to plug 11 holes with 10 fingers! :D

if i report a cheater and he doesn't get banned that makes me frustrated, at least ban who gets reported till u fix ur security, but leaving busted cheaters roam the game? that will encourage even more cheaters

we reduced a newly formed alliance that caused us much glory loss using this method of cheating from 35 to 17 members by reporting them for several times after war ended
