Sigh. welp I really don't know what to say, maybe kindly point out this is why we aren't partnered with you, this is why most respectable YouTubers won't touch your garbage with a 10' pole. It's not the game, the game is absolutely amazing, it's that either 1. you guys are complete sellouts or 2. you have no idea what your doing? You are actively taking what rightfully could have been one of the best mobile games that would have stood to break a ton of records, and ignored the user base, but then adding insult to injury you pull crap like this and whats worse is you're excited about it... sad.
Stupid. I swear, someone at Nexon must be trying to sabotage the company from within. Basing this upon data? What data could possibly tell you that your customer base would be happy with this change? The response is overwhelmingly negative, and it shouldn't be hard to figure out why.
This is an *offensive* game. We derive pleasure from demolishing others' bases. This is NOT a defensive game, although of course that's an aspect of it. Most of your actual players are perfectly fine with the current balance (minus sandbagging, but that is a separate issue). Kill the fun, and you will kill the game. Don't do it, Nexon.
Its a silly idea. It really discourages lower level players to be part of WW as well as encouraging higher level players to TC snipe in higher medal counts. After enlightenment age, it's almost impossible to 5 star or 4 star complete destruction win properly designed and upgraded same age without full tactics+ mercs and blessings. I'd say limit the maximum tactic count to 4 (5 for koreans) since being able to throw down 5 sabotage along with protection is a problem but only being able to use pretty much 3 tactics in global age is as problematic as current tactics.
Terrible Idea to increase tactic space
You are already discouraging players to attack poorly upgrade or lower age bases in the first place. You don't want to touch same age bases with proper upgrade and layout because you get much more out of attacking 3 weak bases without losses rather than waiting 3 hours to attack a solid base with all your tactics,merc,blessings and ally troops.
In WW, you are forcing people to fill their roster with GA and above since you are already forcing lower level players to pack at least one sabotage for TC to stop them spawning field howitzers and Like I said above, you need all your tactics,mercs,ally troops to 5 star a same age base that is properly designed and upgraded.
You should be encouraging the players to challenge more difficult bases even it takes lots of time to restock what you throw at those bases, not limit the players from attacking any base that pose a challenge.
I was excited about the update with the friendly challenges, until today when I see this garbage that I am only going to have half my tactics. No more medal pushing as I use 2-3 tactics most of the time so with a blessing I can do multiple attacks, now I would have to wait for at least a couple to finish before hitting attack again.
I have spent a good amount on this game and maxed the troops and tactics I like to use but now this change is basically telling me we don't care we are going to completely change the game because some mystery players aren't having "fun" cause defense is supposed to be FUN. How much fun is it to watch someone attack your base in war and fail? Oh forgot I can't watch because there is NO WAR REPLAY, something almost 100% that play this game want but not even a mention about that.
Honestly this change has effected me completely how I am suppose to 5 star someone now with 3 sabs this is completely non sense I'm still going to use sab as it's the best tactic which is there hole premise for us to use other tactics but it is such a good tactic that why would I use anything else of course it's going to he harder now but I just don't see where they are trying to go forward with this it's so stuipd

Have you guys really played the game? Do you guys really have tried to attack someone's bases?
I am not just saying how difficult it will be if only 3 useful tactics(sabotage, protection, betrayal) remaining when you are trying to take down a fully upgraded atomic age base.
I am saying the 3 tactics you want to "help" is useless when the players getting the later ages
First aid? Using supply cart is more effective
Barrage? Better to use the fighter planes to take down the defender troops
Demolition? Why not bring more siege weapon to speed up the destruction?
Players may sometimes use them in the earlier age depends on situation but in later ages there is absolutely no point in using them. Even if you nerf all the sabotage, protection and betrayal, still, no player will choose to use those 3 useless tactics because they are already obsoleted in later ages.
I think you guys are just clueless on what you are proposing on the tactics change. PLEASE really play the game first to decide on what changes to be made instead of just based on the internal data
I think that the better fix for sandbagging is to give lower credit for a player's second-best attack. For example, if your 2 attacks yield 5 stars and 4 stars, convert it so they yield 5 stars and 2. If both yield 5 stars, convert to 5 stars and 3. For teams that sandbag (lower-level players make no attacks), the result will be that the higher-level players who make their attacks will get fewer total stars. The team gets a perfect score if every player makes one 5* attack.
