So, I'm not sure if this is suggested anywhere or anything. But it could be pretty sweet to be able to build a navy also. Yes, it would be expensive, and yes it would mean more managing. But to be able to own the seas as well as the land is something that was craved all throughout history, and that is what this game wants to be based off of, history.

Mmmm.... hopefully the river leads to the sea! Good idea.

I like the idea of having a navy as i played Assassins Creed Pirates and i absolutely loved the game. I wish they could incorporate that gameplay into this game but i don't see how a navy style gameplay could be incorporated into this besides how boom beach has it. By having 1 ship and using that ship to attack from the sea while other ships helps to drop troops but in this game troops are dropped on the land.

I would like the idea of a navy in the game but do you have any ideas of how this could work?

I've been putting a lot of thought into it as well. I cant think of a successful way to incorporate them into the actual combat portion of the game. But what if there was a naval portion. Like you would need to purchase ships to defend your trade route with others in your alliance or something.

You could have it so you/alliance could try to take out enemy players/alliances Navy convoys in order to get large amounts of loot/gold. I feel like the rewards should be higher if the navy costs more to maintain and build up.

I like that idea too. And originally the dock (that delivers league loot) could be like a fishing dock that you upgrade into a dock that can support ships, and then become a port. This could take in other peoples ideas about the trading trade goods and fishing and stuff.

You could also turn it into another source of gold/food income somehow. The food part would be easy (fishing, etc.) but maybe there could be a second dock or a market place at the dock for gold income (selling the things you find while fishing?)

Yeah, that'd be really sweet. The docks could be a major source of income, just like it was in real history. It would be really sweet to do something else with the dock and river.

Especially due to how painfully slow it is to gain resources on this game I feel like this is one of the only games that could make having so many different resources generators acceptable

I like this idea. The dock can also be used as a source of food (fishing). You'd be able to attack the dock by land but the navy would be better and stronger against it. Trading food for gold could also be done through here.

Perhaps allow the dock to be upgradable to a port to hold more ships and resources, and have a Shipyard to allow the construction of ships for trade. Not necessarily need to be for war purposes if that is not possible. Can also make it for boosting economy.

Yes to this Idea.
I tought the same yesterday.

I tought maybe add a port on the water where you can train not only naval army, but also can make fishing boats so you can fish food, and gain gold with treasures

Even more, you could add historical concepts to the water, you can give brit a good boost in water wars (better naval army), or more fishing boats for china (this ll help on the ''not that good'' population boost), or give to the greeks an eco boost with the fishing boats.

Don't copy Boom Beach. Be unique. I like the idea. Don't forget to like the OP folks. Faster to see support by the #s.
